Chapter 10. Apart?

We get into the mall and I tell Travis "I need to go grab something, where should we meet back up?" He says op "how about Barnes and Nobles" I nod and say "see you there in 20 minutes" we kiss and go our separate ways. I know what my first part of my present will be, telling everyone that Travis and I are officially dating. I know I'm going to get him something else and then um maybe we will "do it" even if I'm nervous. I'm walking upstairs and see a  sporting goods store, I remember Travis talking about needing new goggles on the way here and decide to buy a pair. I see a teal pair the color of my eyes and I think Travis would like them, I pick them up and see they're $25 dollars. I'm going to put them down, but they're Olympic grade and I think Travis would really like them, so I buy them. When I leave the store I realize I only have 2 minutes until I have to meet Travis at Barnes and Nobles. I start to get close when I see Travis hair from around a corner and I decide to scare him. I sneak up on him and see something that makes my heart stop. Some girl kissing Travis, I pull him of her, punch her in the nose, and slap Travis, my eyes watering. I can't believe I liked him, I should have known he'd never change from that player, fuck boy he'd always been. I never should have trusted the jerk, by the time I get to my car I can feel the tears running down my cheeks. I start my car and see Travis running out of the mall towards my car, took him long enough. Luckily I was always faster than him, I drive away with him yelling after me.

Why won't he stop texting me, I pick up my phone and look at his texts

T- It wasn't what it looked like
T- Please talk to me
T- Katelyn please
T- Katelyn it was all an big misunderstanding
T- We need to talk
T- Please open the door
T- Stop ignoring me please
K- LEAVE ME ALONE!!!😡😡😡 I DON'T WHAT TO TALK!!!😡😡😡
T- Please 😢
K- I WILL BLOCK YOUR NUMBER
T- Okay but no matter what I love you

It's late so I decide to go to bed, I go downstairs and grab some sleeping pills. On my way back up I hear someone at the door. I'm not going to get it, but then I hear Nicole's voice say "open then door." I sigh go back down the stairs and open the door, only to see Nicole with Travis standing there. "What is he doing here" I growl to her, she looks at me and says "he asked me to come over to do this." Then she tackles me, grabs my hands, ties them together, and then ties up my legs. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING NICOLE, GET OFF ME RIGHT NOW," she drags me over to the couch and puts me on the corner seat. She sits next to me and says "just listen to him" I yell "YOU DIDN'T GIVE ME MUCH OF A CHOICE!" She looks at me sadly and says "Travis come over here, I'll be outside if you need me to duct tape her mouth shut." As she walks away I turn my head towards Travis "what do you want" I say in a low growl, he says "for you to listen." "Fine" I say "you have 5 minutes" he smiles and starts talking "when I was at the mall I saw my ex Lucinda, I went over to her to say hi because I thought maybe we could be friends. We were talking and she started kissing me, then you came up behind us and pulled me off her at the same time I was going too. Then you broke her nose, slapped me, and ran off. I tried to run after you, but you were to fast. By the time I got to you, you were driving away, leaving me in the parking lot crying until the bus got there." I look away and say "why should I believe you" guilt creeping on to my face, "why would I hurt you" he says "I love you". I smile and say "will you take me back", "of course" he says. He pulls me in for a long kiss and I know I'm ready.
