We were watching the movie when Maya suddenly left outside
I think she had a phone call
Josh got up and went after her
"Good luck man" Zay told him and Josh nodded
Well you see... Josh told us earlier he thinks about asking Maya on a date
And he looked really nervous about that
I find them really cute together
Not cuter than me and Riley but still... I want Maya to be happy
And Josh looks like the right guy for her
"Why does he need good luck?" Riley asked looking at me
"Josh wants to ask Maya out" I explained
She squealed smiling like a maniac and I covered my ears
"Ow" she chuckled at me
"I'm happy for Maya she wanted this to happen for so long"
"You do know she can't remember that right?" I asked her
"Hey, she might have memory loss in her brain but not her heart" she said seriously "and I have hope that she'll get her memory back and even if not... she got us to tell her about them"
I smiled at her
"I-I have hope" she said understanding what she just said
"Hey looks like Rileytown is starting to build up again" Zay said butting into the conversation
"I missed this feeling" Riley said smiling
"We all missed you feeling that way" Farkle said
"You think Maya would say yes?" Smackle asked
"It's Maya... I mean we all know she really likes Josh even now without her memories" I said
"She will" Riley said
"You guys I think we should start to make dinner" Farkle said
"Woah wait- you guys are making dinner?" Vanessa asked
"Yeah we decided to thank you girls by making dinner for you" I said
"Cool" Riley said getting up from my lap so I can get up as well
JOSH'S POV
"Maya?"
She just stood there staring at me with her mouth open
"I – uh don't know what to say" she said looking down
"You don't want to go out with me?" I asked scared of her answer
"No!" she said looking up "Of course I do want"
"Ok I'm confused" she chuckled and sighed
"Ok this is going to be so embarrassing but..." I looked at her signaling for her to continue "You make me really nervous and I don't want to screw what we have" she said quickly then looked down
I smiled at her cuteness
"Maya" she looked up
I placed my hand on her cheek
"There is no way you could screw this... I mean if someone will it'd be me because you make me scared" I said looking deep in her sparkly eyes
"I make you scared?" she asked raising her brows and smiling a little
"Yeah... I'm scared I'm gonna hurt you or that you don't like me as much as I like you and-"
She cut me off by hugging me tightly
I hugged back laughing a little
She pulled away and looked deep into my eyes
"Yes"
I looked at her confused and she smiled
"I will go out with you"
I grinned like an idiot while picking her up and throwing her over my shoulder
"Joshua Gabriel Matthews what are you doing?" she giggled
"Taking you home" I smirked
"Ok but put me down first" she punched my back a little
"Nah I actually enjoying the view here" I tried to hold back my laugh as she gasped smacking my back
"Pervert"
"You love me anyways" she buried her head in my shirt
"Now I have to get you off" I said
"Why?"
"Because I love seeing you blush" I smirked and she groaned burring her head in my shirt again
