ICE'S POV
"GOOD MORNING, SIR!"
"Give me the spare key to Hyra Fukushima's room."
"But sir, it's strictly enforced that-"
"What are you doing? Mr. Maniego is the owner of this building!"
"...Sorry, I didn't know!"
Tsk!
"The key?"
They rushed to give me the key, and I didn't linger once I had it. I immediately went to her unit. Maybe there is information left here; she stayed here for a long time.
"Sir, do you want someone to go with you?"
"No, call it a day and rest." I immediately closed the door to her unit and let my eyes wander around the entire place.
The fragrance of the room smelled masculine, a familiar scent. I'd been here a few times but had only ever been in one room. Could I find a clue in the others?
I didn't hesitate and entered the rooms. The first two contained nothing suspicious except for a pair of men's clothes. The last room was filled with computers, laptops, and pictures of a man. When I checked one of the computers, I was surprised to see it had access to CCTV cameras around the country.
"She's a stalker? And she's stalking this person?"
I took a photo and held it up to the light to clearly see who it was.
"Conan Takashi?"
She stalks Conan? Why? Takashi is just a henchman of the Unknown King. Wait... I haven't seen Takashi since the Caribbean incident.
I looked around and was amazed to see pictures of Takashi from childhood until now, capturing moments of him sleeping and entering various establishments. She had pictures of him everywhere.
As I rummaged around, one photo caught my eye. I took it and nearly fell from my spot. It was a picture of Hyra and Takashi when they were young. Have they known each other for a long time?
Viper, who is always attached to Demon, is he Takashi? Does the Unknown King know that his ally is also Demon's ally?
I stayed despite feeling short of breath. The room was stifling with the amount of pictures on the wall. I walked over to one of the computers and opened it. Luckily, there was no password, so I started sifting through the files.
There was information about the Elders, Mr. Chua, Mr. Azakura, and Mr. Salvador. She also had blueprints of the Underground and data on Vixen. There was a picture of Megumi, Krystal, and Lorraine labeled "Three Musketeers." On another side, there were pictures of Dos and Tres with blood stains. In one document, there were dates and detailed plans of events, like the former president's death and Mr. Salvador's rise to power.
Ahh- my head was spinning, but I couldn't stop searching the room.
In another document, there was a picture of a woman with a severed head stuck on a bamboo stick. Her name was Elizabeth, based on the notes.
There was more written below, so I read it.
"Elizabeth, Luci killed her when she gave birth to a girl. She was killed and her head was cut off, then hung on the gate of the Underground. Luci threatened those who tried to oppose her."
