THIRD PERSON'S POV
"UNTIE ME!" Miku struggled, but he couldn't muster even a glimmer of hope. His body was too tightly bound to the chair. "WHY DID YOU BRING ME BACK HERE? HYRA NEEDS ME!... And why is he here?" He stopped shouting and looked at Vladimir, who was calmly sipping his coffee with his legs crossed.
"I'm sorry, my dearest younger brother," Vladimir said with a feigned look of regret.
"Don't call me that. It makes me sick to think that I'm your brother," Miku spat, closing his eyes to calm himself. When he opened them again, he narrowed his gaze at his father. "What the hell is this?" he demanded.
"A reunion?" Mr. Azakura replied jokingly, taking a leisurely sip of his coffee. "Too bad Hyra isn't here," he added, causing Miku's anger to flare even more.
When Hyra had rejected Miku's offer of help, hundreds of his father's underlings had come and carried him back. They had used a secret passage and escaped freely.
"Why the hell are you doing this?" Tears began to pour from Miku's eyes. He no longer understood what was happening. All he knew was that Hyra was fighting alone and needed help, but the people who should be helping weren't taking any steps. "Hyra is fighting alone at the cost of her life!"
"Miku, listen. You can't side with Demon just because you found out she's your niece! This country will be destroyed if Demon is not killed, and if you stand in the way of killing Demon, you will become the enemy of mankind," Vlad said, taking another sip of coffee. "We'll lock you up temporarily until this mess is over."
"What!? Who are you to decide?"
"But Dad suggested it, and I'm just following orders," Vlad grinned.
"You can't do this to me!" Miku struggled again, prompting five guards to arrive at Mr. Azakura's command and take him to his room. They locked it carefully and posted guards outside.
"It's for the better," Vlad said in a normal tone. "As long as he's here, Demon can't kill him."

"It's been three days without anyone invading the fort. Do you think they've retreated?" one underling asked.
"I'm sure they're thinking of another way. They still haven't caught Demon, even though they've done everything," another replied.
"It's also in our favor because Venom finally got a good night's sleep. I'm worried about that boy; he's been guarding the gate for more than a week without sleep," a third underling added.
"Wouldn't it be better if you lowered your voice so he wouldn't wake up?" Mikhail emerged, smiling, holding a cup of hot coffee. He, too, had managed to rest somehow since the enemy had stopped attacking. "I slept soundly. I feel like it's the last sleep I'll ever experience because the next day will be even worse," he joked, making the atmosphere solemn. "Just kidding!" But the underlings' shoulders slumped even more. They thought it was the end of the world; this was the first time Mikhail had smiled and joked, and they didn't have a good feeling about it. "How are the wounded? Are they doing well now?" he asked.
"Yes, sir. In fact, they joined the night watchmen," they replied, following Mikhail as he started walking.
"Any sign from Demon?"
