Five.

Amanda.

My joy for running had officially died. It died somewhere in between the four hours that I had ran last night.

I carefully tried to get into a sitting position so I could try to get to the bathroom for a nice hot shower. Then maybe a freezing cold one after that. But first, I had to get out of the bed that had been my only friend last night,

As I pushed my arms under me, I realized that my entire abdomen was sore. My thighs, calves, and feet were also sore. And they were starting to cramp!

I screamed as I fell to the ground. Not because my head hit the steps leading up to the bed, but because my feet were curled together and my legs were entangled. My mind became a pain detector to my legs, analyzing every little sharp stab at my body.

The next thing I heard was Sarah calling for help. Arms wrapped around my waist, fingers closed over my arms.

"Get the salt crystals and run hot water," I heard Sarah say to someone.

"Yes, ma'am," The fingers that were on my arms were gone.

As Sarah walked me to the bathroom, I felt my muscles loosening and became more useful. Sarah sat me down on one of the chairs next to the tub then turned on one of the knobs. Water poured in from the rim of the tub. The black obsidian was really cool in the light.

Another girl came in from the door on my side. She held three huge crystals in her hands. I realized that the salt crystals that Sarah was talking about.

"Excuse me, but what will that do?" My throat hurt from the air that I took in order to speak.

"The salt will take the soreness out of your body and give you a soothing calm to it. Princess Tatiana said that you would feel awful so she instructed us to use the crystal." The other girl said. Her voice wasn't like the rest of the people that were here. It wasn't as musical, but almost like a human's voice.

"Okay. I think I can handle it from here," I said then motioned to the door for them to leave. They obeyed.

"Queen Amelia wants to meet with you as soon as possible. Just call for me and I will take you there when you are finished," Sarah said then bowed and left.

"Okay," I said and waited for her to leave.

I stripped then stepped into the bath tub. The lights on the ceiling turned to a dim setting then lights in the tub lit up. The crystals added to the light. The black obsidian made the entire area look very relaxing. It reminded me of the spas I used to go to with my mom for manicures, pedicures, waxes, and facials. We used to have fun but then I grew older and started getting into more and more trouble.

I stayed in the tub for about an hour. The salt was really making me feel calm. The most calm I have ever been in my entire life. It was like I was sleeping and dreaming the most beautiful of dreams. I almost felt dead.

I gathered my strength and got out of the bath. The water immediately drained after I got out.

I let the silk robe fall over my body. The softness astounded me as I ran my hand over the sleeve. A black dragon was threaded over my heart. It was like the one that I had seen on Tatiana and Adrian's arm.

"Ms. Amanda, the Queen has summoned you to her office. She would like to see you now," I heard the anxiousness in her voice. Sarah was scared of Amelia. But, not as scared as she was of Tatiana.
