The rest of the day was a blur.  I was more than happy.  Hunter met the rest of my friends.  We parted ways after ward.  I didn't want to but we both had different things to do.

I walked through my front door and found my brother eating goldfish in the kitchen.  He had a bummed face which automatically made me curious.

"Whats wrong Kyle?"  I asked and went to sit next to him.

"Not much, just missing Florida."  I knew that feeling.  I of course didn't feel it as much as I did when we first got here.  But it would be nice if we were in Florida.

"I know how you feel little dude.  I want to visit everyone there and go surfing."  I daydreamed about it.  I loved Florida.  The beaches, Disney world, my friends.  It was sad to leave.  I sometimes wished we hadn't left in the first place.  But now I had Hunter and my other friends.

"I just wish we never left.  It would be fun to visit but I just want to stay there."

"How's school."

He shrugged.  "I made the basketball team.  Practice starts soon.  I've made some friends but...  It's just not the same as Florida."

"I know how you feel.  I really do.  How about this.  I've been wanting to visit ever since we moved.  What if we plan a summer trip?"

He nodded reluctantly then a smile spread across his face.  "And maybe when we go Mom and Dad will remember how awesome it is there and we'll move back."

"Um maybe but... don't you think Colorado Springs is nice?"

"Yeah I guess it's a nice place to visit."

I sighed.  "That's not what I mean Kyle."

"Why don't you agree with me?  You had the exact same opinion a month ago.  Why not now?"

A smile spread across my face remembering earlier.  "I've made some friends."  He studied my face.

He smirked.  "Oh Cora, did you get a boyfriend?"

I couldn't keep my blush back.

"I knew it.  I knew it, I knew it, I knew it."

"Yeah, yeah.  Calm down."

"You got a boyfriend.  What's his name?  Oh, it's Hunter isn't it?"

I rolled my eyes and nodded.

"Dude bring him over some time.  I need to tell him if he messes with you he's got to get through me first."

I laughed.  "Are you going to threaten him?"

"Yeah.  You see these muscles?"  He said and flexed.  "I can beat him up."

"Well thanks I think.  I'm going to go do my homework."

"You have fun."

I walked up to my room and brought my backpack.  I pulled out my phone and it was exploded with text messages.  All of which from Hunter.  Here's the summary:  He wants me to come over for dinner.  Don't be late.  Why don't I answer texts faster?  Is that a yes or a no?  I hope it's a yes cause I have a surprise.  It was stuff like that.

I'll be there.  I texted him back.

Good see you then. :)

I closed my phone and got to my homework.
