brendon soon enough was pulling into his driveway that led up to his dark blue house, a house I had been in many times when we were little.

we walk into his house and I'm already hit with memories from when we were little.

I look out into the living room where his father, mr urie or Boyd, is sitting and watching some football game.

I remember when I tried to jump and do a flip off of the chair he was sitting in.

and broke my arm....

as I was re playing all the memories in my head my boyd looked over at me, probably expecting some random chick, and his eyes lit up.

he jumped up from his chair and walked over to me and enveloped me in a hug

"KAITY!!!" he said, smiling and pulling away.

"hi mr urie" I said, smiling.

"oh please, call me Boyd" he said.

I was about to respond when brendon took me by my hand and led me up the familiar stairs and up to his room.

I sat on his bed, still in my pageant dress.

"I'm glad to see you substituted the skater posters for band posters" I said, laughing a little.

"oh no problem" he laughed, sitting next to me.

we just looked at his wall for a second until brendon just started bursting into laughter, and so did i.

that's one thing we did a lot when we were kids, laugh for absolutely no reason.

I smiled
"why were we laughing...?"

"I don't know" brendon said bluntly, letting out a small laugh.

that led to even more laughter.

"I miss this" I said.

"miss what?"

"you. me. hanging out" I said.

"well we can hang out more" brendon said
"we were best friends when we were kids, it won't be that awkward"

"I'd like that" I said smiling.

"y'know...my band is having this gig on Friday...maybe you could come and sleep over after" he said

"I'll come to your gig, but I'm not sleeping over, Urie"

"what can I say...dare to dream" he said, smiling.

I laughed "you'll be dreaming for a while"

"rip to my youth, you can call this the funeral, I'm just telling the truth, you can play this at my funeral"

my phone started ringing with my ringtone.

I picked it up and saw "MOM" flashing across the screen.

I rolled my eyes

"hello?"
"KAITLYN DELURY WHERE ARE YOU?"
"I'm at Brendon's house"
"you haven't been there in years. I'm not that dumb. where.are.you"

I looked at brendon and smirked and handed him the phone.

he leaned against his headboard and crossed his long legs and held my phone against his ear.

"Mrs delury? hi! yeah it's brendon. I'm doing just fine and you? I'm glad to hear that."

Jesus- he did have a way with words.

"well okay then. see ya in 20! bye!"

he hung up.

"she's coming in 20" he said.
