We followed the path ahead. They're a lot of things needed to do. In this room, there's no color and there's a big missing floor in the middle. Across it, there's a key. I don't know how to get there though. There's nothing we can use to get across. Then on another room, a painting, "The Lady Without Her Umbrella". As the name goes, it's a painting of a woman with no umbrella. I placed a mannequin on the floor and the floor cracked. Some weird gas is coming out. On the far end table, we saw a key that's shaped like a tree. I took it, kept it in my pocket and we left the room.
On the next room, We saw small bookshelves and a painting, "A Lone Keyhole". I got curious so I put my finger in it. But it won't fit though cause my hand's not a key. . . . .Oh! That tree key! I tried it and put in in the keyhole. . . . .There was a sound. . .But where did it come from? There's nothing outside. Hmm. . . . Maybe, it came from below?
--Garry's Point of View--
What was that sound? Anyway, it was quite soft, I'm surprised to hear that. Anywayy, I should put this blue triangle on the dent. "Heave!" I yelled. It won't budge. This thing has a ridiculous weight! How did this thing fall? "Clara, help me push this." "Yes, of course."
Both of us pushed the triangle with all our strength. It started to move.
Took a while but we finally reached the dent. The door there opened. I saw the message again saying that there's no escape. "No escape, huh?" I said. Quite arrogantly though. We proceeded there. We saw one of those dolls we saw before we came here. There's a lettering beside the doll.
"Hello there, Garry and Clara, I don't like being alone. Take me with you!"
Ok. The creepy levels just went up. We should ignore--What?!
"Aww, poor thing. You can come with us." said Clara as she picks up the disturbing doll.
"Y-You're taking t-that?!"
"Why, what's wrong?"
"What's wrong?! You just said you got scared of these things!"
"Now, I'm not. Besides, this poor thing's all alone. . ."
"Ok, alright fine. Even though I don't like it very much. . ."
Another writing appeared on the wall. This time it's in yellow. "Yay! Thank you, Clara and Garry!"
"You're welcome, I guess. . . ." I said. Guess I got instantly generous and calm.
We followed the path and ended up in another room. There's a room with a palette in front. There's a letter below. It told me to find the seven balls of paint and a bridge will be formed. I don't know what bridge it is but, we gotta find them.
Clara and I decided to split up and look for the paint balls. After a while, I found the yellow, green, and red while Clara found the violet, orange, and blue. But I read a book about Guertena's works and it said, "Mary (????) The last work of Guertena's life. Even though she looks almost life-like, she is not based on a real person." I knew that Ib was in trouble she was with her the whole time. We'd better hurry.
None of us could find the last one. There's an odd room with a strangely cold doorknob. A lettering appeared on the wall. "Hey! My friends are in there! Let me introduce you!" probably its friends are also like him. It jumped off Clara and went and opened the door with a cold doorknob. It's unlocked. Clara picked up the doll again and we went inside. "Yahh!" I yelled. Geez! This room's full of those dolls! It's so disturbing and creepy! Anyway, look! There's a white paint ball in the far end. There's also a completely white painting.
"Ok! That's seven of them!" I said. As soon as we were about to leave, the door suddenly shut itself close. Leaving me inside the room.
"H-Hey! W-What happened?! Clara?!"
"I-I don't know! As soon as I got out, the door suddenly closed!" she says as she beats the door. That probably won't do anything though. Suddenly, writing appeared on the door. "Let's have a treasure hunt. Who? Who has the key?"
Then I suddenly heard the bell toll three times. And a light earthquake. There's. . . . . .something coming out of the painting! Where is the key?!
--End of Garry's Point of View--
Ok. The room with no color now has colors and the bridge to the other side has been made. Got a brown key. Went outside the room and saw Mary just idling there in the middle of the room. She's been like that for quite some time now. I wonder what's wrong?
"Mary?"
"Mary? I'm Mary! I am Mary! I am Mary! I am Mary!"
"Uh, are you okay?"
"Ahahahaha!"
After laughing, she left. "Wait, Mary!" and I hurriedly followed her. There's a mannequin head blocking the way. She thrusts her palette knife and mercilessly tortures the mannequin head.
"In my way... In my way... In my way.... In my WAY!" she yells as she swings her palette knife. What's suddenly going on? What's...happening to Mary? Is this place getting to her too much? How long has she stayed here?
I turned back and went back. I suddenly jumped as I heard Mary behind me. "Ib? Where are you going? Please don't leave me alone..."
"Ah, s-sure." I didn't know what to say that time. It just came out of my mouth. Mary's following me from behind. I got the brown key and unlocked the door. Saw a painting of a snake with its mouth open and above it, is a drop of something. I was about to go downstairs when I saw Mary with a strange look on her face. She's still holding her palette knife coming closer... I took steps back.
"Mary? What're you doing?"
"Oh, we'll be together forever, Ib..."
Then I suddenly heard someone shout my name, "Ib!!" I saw Garry stood in front of me.
"What are you doing, Mary?!" shouted Garry.
"Shut up! If you've been only good and stayed there!"
"Mary, stop it!" shouted another voice.
It was Clara. I'm so glad to see they're both safe! So, this bridge was connected to the room they're in. "Clara, get out of my way!" yelled Mary. "No! Mary, stop this!"
"Then so be it..." said Mary in a soft voice. Mary ran around Clara to us but, Clara shielded us...
Mary looked frightened. What had she done to kill her sister. Mary pulled out the palette knife then started crying as Clara drops down on the floor. I start to cry too... "Clara....ugh.....my sister..." said Mary as she cries. "Mary, why were you trying to kill me?" I suddenly asked as I wipe my tears away. "That's none of your business!"
"I need to know Mary. Why?"
"Shut up, shut up, shut up..."
"Why won't you answer me?"
"I SAID SHUT UP!"
She stood up then chased after me. "Run, Ib!" shouted Garry. I did exactly that. I quickly ran outside the room then headed south. There I saw another staircase. But a headless statue is blocking the way. Garry hurriedly pushed it aside.
"GARRY!! IB!!"
Argh! Mary's catching up! As soon as Garry pushed it aside, we hurriedly went downstairs.
Pink staircase was there and a weird atmosphere.
