Chapter 6

I scream a bloody murder scream

"It's just me" I hear aunt Lora say hugging me "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you I thought you heard me"

"It's fine I just thought I heard something down here" I breath out

"I don't see anything lets go back upstairs I bought some some food you a veggie burger and me a regular one and then we can eat our ice cream" I nod in response

We head upstairs and finish watching the rest of the movie while eating our food and then some ice cream.

I go up stairs to my room everything still in boxes but I don't feel like unpacking

I get ready for bed and lay there with all the lights On not wanting darkness
not that I'm scared but this house is new to me and it already kind of gives me the creeps

Luke pov
The girls watched Star Wars movies most of the day I used to love those movies but I decided to just stay in the basement I don't like to be in the same room with them unless they are asleep

I was sitting on the couch that's in the basement but I started to walk around I was getting restless being down here when they were upstairs I wanted to talk to them or something while in thought I accidentally ran into the book case and then a couple books fell off I reach down and start putting them back up, I drop one of them that I had in my hand I bend down and put it up

I stop when I hear a "hello" I freeze and then hear the stairs creak and hear the girl Jess whisper "o okay it's just your imagination" I duck behind the couch I don't know why it's not like she can see me as soon as a crouch down I hear her scream I stand up quickly and see her aunt "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you I thought you heard me" her aunt looks right at me Jess back is turned.
