I quickly got ready for school and then headed downstairs to get a cup of coffee
"Morning" aunt Lora says in a sing song voice
"Morning" I great back
"Listen I'm going to be working late today again so I'm going to leave you money for a pizza" she says as she drinks her coffee
"Yeah that's fine" you would think I wouldn't want to be here alone at all by myself now that I know for sure there's a real ghost living here but I actually don't feel so scared anymore I really am weird
"Are you sure you don't want me to drive you to school?" She asks me
"I'm fine I promise. I'll see you later tonight"I say as I grab my bag and walk to the front door
LUNCH
"So what are you wearing to the party?" Mary asks me
"Not sure" I shrug
"Do you want to go shopping?" She asks growing excited
"I'm honestly not a big fan of shopping" I give her a small smile hoping she won't get offended
"What girl doesn't like shopping" Kate says rolling her eyes
"Shut up Kate" Mary gives her a dirty look "it's fine me and Kate are going shopping after school if you want I can get you something"
"You don't have to do that" I shake my head
"It's honestly no big deal it will be fun and I promise I will find something really cute" she laugh
"Okay" I chuckle
"Can we please talk about something else" Jeff's moans
"I'm sure anything you wear you will look beautiful in" Eli whispers in my ear I feel my cheeks growing hot

I unlock my door wondering what I'm going to do once I'm inside do I go downstairs and great him, do I act like he's not there
"I'm home" I yell so if he wants to come up he can
I go upstairs and put my stuff up
I come back downstairs and I see him coming out of the basement
"Hi" I say
"Hi" he says back
we both stand there awkwardly both not knowing what to do
"Uh why don't we go into the living room" I say
"Sound good" he says with a smile
We sit down but keeping our distant atleast I'm not the only one uncomfortable
"If you want I can go back stairs" he tells me
"No it's fine" I say
"How was school?" He asks
"It was fine I guess" I shrug
"Do you not like the new school?" He questions
"It's okay I like the school part but the meeting new people and socializing part I'm not a big fan of" I say as I play with my fingers
"I get it. do you miss your friends At your old school"
"Um I didn't really have any friends there either" I bet he's thinking what a loser
"Well your my first friend in a really long time" he smiles at me
"We're friends" I raise a eyebrow at him
"Well I hope we can be" he smirks
My first real friend is a ghost wow I'm pathetic
"So what do you normally do?" I ask
"Well sometimes I clean the basement or I read or watch tv nothing real" he shrugs I nod
"So uh Do you want to watch a movie?" I mean what do you do with a ghost
"Sounds great" he smiles happily
"Do you want to watch Casper?" I ask him
"Um" he says
"I'm kidding" I smirk
"Good one" he laughs
I put on a batman movie everyone likes batman
We sit there quietly it didn't really feel that awkward surprisingly
"I'm going to order a pizza" I tell him
"Here I'll pause it" he says grabbing the remote
I order a large cheese pizza
"They are on there way" I tell him once I get off the phone "can you eat?"
"No I don't eat anymore I don't even use the bathroom" he tells me
"O" I say
"I do miss pizza though" he says sadly
I want to ask him so many questions but it's not my business I hate when people ask me personal questions
"What else do you miss" I ask him hoping I'm not intruding
"Besides food I miss going to the movies and just being outside feeling the sun on my face, I even miss talking to people I've had no one to talk too in a really long time.." He sighs
"I'm sorry. Well you can talk to me" I say hoping to make him feel better
"Thanks" he give me a small smile
I hear the door bell ring we both get up him going to the kitchen me to the door
I open the door
"Hi" I say "here you go" I hand him the cash
"Do you want a plate" I hear Luke yell
"Yes" I yell back the pizza guy looks confused
"And a napkin?" He yells
"Yes" I yell back
"Here" he says wanting to leave
"Thanks" I say as I grab the pizza box from his hand and shut the door
I set the pizza down on the coffee table
"Here" Luke says handing me a plate and a napkin
"Thanks" I grab it and take a slice of pizza out
We unpause the movie and sit back on the couch
"I'm home" I hear aunt Lora say as she opens the door
"Hey" I say as I look at her and then look at Luke
"How's your day" she says as she sits in the loveseat
"Good" I try not to laugh
