Sexy beast... *cough, cough* uh, I mean Archer-------->
Chapter 7
~The Needing~
Two days! Two days I've been avoiding this guy. You'd think it'd be easy in this ginormous house, but I smell him everywhere. Just his smell makes me want to track him down and bask in it. Oh and don't even get me started on his laugh. I heard it, and it rings in my mind like the most beautifulest melody I've ever heard. The first time I heard it was yesterday, when I was going to get a drink of water in the kitchen. I peaked around the corner to see if he was in there, just in time when he let out an almost shy laugh at something some guy said. We made eye contact, I squeaked, and bolted upstairs. I hear it over and over, and I don't know if it's my mind playing tricks on me or not.
Avoiding him has made my days more dull than usual. I go to work, Come home, go straight to my room and stay there until I take a shower, then go to bed. I rarely eat anymore, and when I do It's usually not that much.
It's currently Monday night, and tomorrow is one of the two days I have off this week. My days off change each week, which I surprisingly like. Anyway, I'm camped out in my bedroom reading— well I was reading until I drifted off into law-law land.
These past few days have been torture. Not only the avoiding part, but 'My wolf' Is going bat-shit crazy. All he wants is him. I do too, but unlike my wolf I have doubts, and worries. Okay honestly I'm scared. I'm scared of how attached I am to him... well not necessarily him, but the idea of him. I'm scared of what his scent and his laugh does to me. And ever since this guy's showed up, I feel... hot; everywhere, all the time.
Two small knocks pull me out of my thoughts. I go to get up, when Jeremy slams the door open, making me jump. Mike's behind him looking sheepish as ever, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Axel sweetie, you should come eat," He says.
"I'm not that hungry," I reply, waving my hand idly.
"You haven't "been that hungry" for the past four days," Jeremy scolds, using air quotations.
"No really guys I'm-"
"-Coming to eat," Jeremy demands, walking in further. He grabs me by the arm and pulls me to the door.
"Wait!" I yell. Jeremy stops, and they both look at me. "I don't feel well?" I try. Jeremy rolls his eyes, and literally pulls me down the stairs, while I keep trying lame excuses. We walk into the dining room. Mystery man, Jackson, and Sebastian are all seated. They all look at up at me, so I look down. Jeremy pulls me to a seat, pulls the chair out, and pushes me down by my shoulder. He pushes me in, then goes to sit at the head of the table, while Mike sits to his right. I look up, and my 'mate' or whatever, is coincidentally sitting across from me, in between Mike and Sebastian. I quickly look down at the full plate of food in front of me.
Man, I feel so hot right now.
I tug on the collar of my shirt just as Jackson nudges my arm with his.
"Why have you been MIA?" He asks. Everyone looks at me and I gulp. His eyes are making me nervous. GAH!
"You Know... work." I shrug and pick up the fork.
"Right," He says drawing out the word.
"OH!" Mike pretty much yells, which makes me jump. "Axel, You haven't met Archer, our oldest son." He points to the blonde haired brown eyed man, that has completely taken over my thoughts these last two days; Archer. I love his name... so sexy.
