Chapter 6

~Deck the Halls~

"It's Christmas, it's Christmas," someone cheers. I peek my eyes open to see Mike spinning around while bouncing.

"Mike, it's not Christmas," I groan, then bury my face into the pillow. I hear him stop bouncing, and he huffs.

"Uh... Well you're right, but it's almost Christmas. Today's going to be a great day! We get to decorate and my baby's coming home, so get up!" I groan and roll out of bed, literally. I fall off the bed and land on my stomach with a loud thump.

"Ow," I mutter while getting to my feet. Mike goes over to the closet and grabs clothes, then he hands them to me.

"Put these on, then come downstairs."

"They're pajamas."

"I know! Just do it." He smiles once more, then leaves the room.

I quickly change and look in the mirror. I'm wearing plaid pajama pants and a black long sleeve sweater Mike got me that says, 'This is my too tired to function sweatshirt'. He said it was so me, and he just had to buy it.

After I'm dressed I go to the bathroom to do my morning routine, then I go downstairs and make my way into the kitchen.

"Morning," everyone says. Everyone including Mike, Jeremy, Josh (Mike's brother), Jackson, and Sebastian. They're all wearing pajamas as well, so I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Josh eyes me weirdly as I walk over to the bar so I raise a questioning eyebrow and he looks away. I sit on one of the stools between Jackson and Mike.

"Okay guys, Jeremy and Liam just got the Christmas tree up, so eat then go to the front room so we can decorate," Mike says while clapping his hands.

I take a couple bites of the food Mike placed in front of me, then space out. Someone snaps their fingers in my face, so I look up confused.

"Come on bro, we're going to decorate now." I nod and follow Sebastian into the living room.

There's a huge freaking tree in the far left corner. There are boxes littered all over, which I'm assuming has decorations in them. Everyone from the kitchen walks in along with a couple other people. Mike starts telling people what to do and the other pack members mutter a 'yes Luna' then get to work. Mike struts over to me with a grin plastered on his face.

What the hell's a Luna?

"You can hang these up." He hands me a box of silver bulbs. "Don't put them too close together." I nod and get to work. Mike turns Christmas music on and he starts working himself. And when I say working, I mean telling people what to do and how to do it, then taking over when they're not doing it right.

An hour later we stop for a break to drink hot cocoa, and eat gingerbread cookies. I spot Jonah across the room so I smile at him. The corners of his lips twitch and he looks down at his mug.

He's so adorable. He deserves friends and to be treated nicely. I just don't understand why no one likes him. I like him and I barely know him.

Mike claps his hands and everyone immediately gets back to work.

About another hour later we start to finish up. I turn around from the tree and sigh. I stretch my back, but stop mid-stretch when my eyes land on a piano. How the hell did I not notice it? I walk over to it slowly, then press a couple keys.
