Kehlani Pov
I started to smell a cinnamon smell. I sat up in my bed and smiled. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom.
After brushing my teeth and taking a shower, I got dressed and went downstairs to the now strong scent of cinnamon.
Chris and Jhene, they were cooking. Well they were attempting. The faint smell of cinnamon was them lighting a candle to hide the fact that they burnt something.
I crossed my arms and cleared my throat. Chris looked back at me, smiling.
"Good morning." He said. I raised an eyebrow. "I was trying to make you breakfast but I failed so terribly. I ordered some chicken and waffles. I hope that that's OK." He said. I sat at the island while rolling my eyes at Jhene as she started to hump the air and moaned jokingly.
"So, Kehlani Tsunami, I got a question." Chris said sitting next to me.
"Wanna go out on a date?" I asked. He looked at me and smiled.
"Yes." He smiled before taking my hand in his, kissing it gently it. "I promise you won't regret it." I jumped when someone knocked on the door.
"FOODS HERE NIIIGGGGGAAASSSS!!" Chris said. He quickly paid for the food. But not before looking at the delivery man and saying, "Nigga we were hungry thank you for your cooperation but ain't no tip here nigga." After he put the food on the table, I went to the door and gave the boy a tip. I looked over at Chris.
"This is why people think you're an asshole Chris." I said.
Chris looked over at me and smiled. "I only didn't give a tip because they were late. But you do you." I looked over at the clock. I shook my head and sat next to him.

Later that night.
I put on a dress that hugged my body. It had a really showed my stomach. Even though I am only 3 months, you can tell that I'm gaining weight.
Jhene fixed my makeup for me. Which took longer than expected because every other song on her playlist is her "twerking music."
I gulped as the door bell rang. I heard Chris yell something and I walked towards the steps. Jhene walked up behind me and whispered in my ear.
"It'll be fun. I can tell he got feelings for ya lightskin ass." She said. "be careful with my godchild nigga." She kissed my cheek before walking around me to open the door.
As I got down the steps, Chris stared at me. Which sort of made me feel uncomfortable. But I blew it off. I mean, I letting my little self esteem issues get the best of me.
I stood in front of him, waiting for him to say something. I watched as he looked at every little thing going on with my outfit. Then I felt his arm wrap around me and pull me to him. I smiled.
"You're so beautiful." He whispered into my ear and sort of bit on my ear. I shrugged playfully. He opened the door, letting me walk out first. Once we were outside, Chris opened the car door for me. Jhene stuck her head out the door and smiled.
"I would say make sure y'all use protection but it's too late for all that." She said. I chuckled to myself and got myself together mentally for this date.
I prayed and looked over at Chris who was stared at me.
"What?" I asked.
"You're just really beautiful." He said. I blushed looking out my window.
He started to drive. I watched as the amount of houses started to get higher. Then the amount of space between houses grew. I then started to see a big body of water.
I looked over at Chris. He was focusing on the road.
"Where we going?" I asked. Chris looked over at me. Breaking his focus. He turned his attention back over to the road and taking the right. There was a gate but as soon as we pulled up on it, it opened.
Chris drove past the gate and drove down to the end of the road. He turned off the car and looked over at me.
"So I know you like little romantic shit, so a little dinner on the beach." He got out the car and walked over to my door. He held out his hand. I grabbed it, getting-out the car. He led me down the sand to where there was a blanket and a picnic basket.
I looked over at Chris. "When you said a romantic date on the beach, I thought we would have a table." I said. Chris laughed and nodded.
"That's cliché." He said. "I want to be different. Especially with you. I wanna show you that I can go the extra mile." He said smiling. I smiled and sat down on top of the blanket.
I looked out at the ocean and listened to the waves. Chris sat next to me and opened the picnic basket.
He pulled out a bottle of sparkling cider. He also pulled out 2 red cups and poured some of the cider in it.
"Nigga you couldnt get wine glasses?" I asked laughing.
"Look, I had these at home so I took these. Niggas don't got time to buy more expensive shit."
"Nigga you can get them from dollar tree." I said laughing.

Another day. Another update.
