"This is not fair!" I pout inwardly as Ethan shoves me to the ground. The left side of my face pressed on the grass under me. "Cheater." I snarl.
I feel him smirk through my mind link. "You will never be as good as me, I'm the beta after all."
"If you stop cheating I'll beat your ass any second!" I say as I struggle to get out from under him, but fail because he weights more than a damn car!
"You wound me princess." I could hear his teasing tone in my head. Who would have thought that the beta of the silver moon pack is actually an idiot behind that rude and scary facade! I can't believe I was fooled when he captured me and Nathan trespassing their territory four years ago. "It's not cheating, it's called techniques." I roll my eyes at his words.
"Would you get off of me already?" I mentally yell at him giving up struggling.
"Oh I'm sorry am I hurting you princess? Let me fix that for you." I could picture the smirk he is wearing on his face even behind his wolf form as I try to struggle again from under him, but my struggle was no where near enough as he pulls him self up and puts more of his weight over me. "Better?" He asks in his most innocent tone.
"Idiot." I hiss.
Before he could reply with what ever sarcastic reply he saved for me, a grey wolf comes running from behind a tree. Ryan. "The alpha wants both of you back at the pack house right now." He announces through mind link.
Ethan finally gets off of me and I go behind a tree to shift to my human form and put my clothes back on, a blue jeans and a tee shirt. When I come out both Ryan and Ethan stood in their human forms wearing only their pants.
"Is there something wrong?" I ask walking towards Ryan.
"No, Emily gave birth to a boy, and the alpha has to go and welcome the baby in to the pack. So he wants you both at the pack house while he is away." Ryan tells us. "What were you two doing anyway." He asks. Probably wondering about the embarrassing position he found us in. A huge grin plays on Ethan's lips as if he was waiting for the moment Ryan will ask him that.
"Well my friend I was teaching her fighting techniques." Ethan explains smirking in my direction as he emphasis the word techniques.
"You were being an idiot, you were not teaching me anything!" I clarify. "I was practicing in the forest while he popped up and wouldn't stop annoying me. And when I tried to ignore him he jumped and sat down on me!" I explain what really happened to Ryan before Ethan can tell him anymore of his lies.
Ethan rolls his eyes and turns away from me to look ahead. While Ryan grins. "You know Darlin' you can beat his ass and take his place as beta anytime, and I'll cheer you on every step on it."
Ethan frowns and looks between me and Ryan before slapping Ryan on the back of His head. "I am your beta, and I can punish you for even suggesting this to anyone." Ethan scoffs while Ryan simply winks at me.
