  The doctor came in with a smirk. He obviously has been talking with my mother.

"So Miss Ellis what's going on?" He asks.

"Well I've vomited like 6 times tonight." I say.

"Okay what do you think the cause of this is? Have you eaten any new foods, been around any toxic chemicals?" He asks.

"Well I've been eating a lot of takeout lately." I say.

"Have you had any unprotected sex lately?" He asks.

"Yes but what makes you think I'm pregnant, I could think of a million other thinks that could be wrong." I say.

"Okay well I think you're pregnant since there's nothing else severely wrong, and no red flags. Let's do a quick blood test so we can cancel that out though since you don't think it's that." He says.

"Blood test why not a pee on a stick test?" I ask.

"The urine tests are when you are already a month or so pregnant, blood tests tell when you're at least a week pregnant." He says.

I agree to take one. I sit there on the chair swinging my feet while the assistant pokes around for a vein.

"Aha" She says.

I feel the needle go in my hand. I watch my blood leaving my arm and transferring into a tube. She takes the needle out of my arm replacing it with tape and a cotton ball.

"This will take about 30 minutes to test sweetie you can go down to our cafeteria and we'll call you when we have the results" She says.

I smile and nod.

"I'm going to go to the cafeteria want to come?" I ask mom.

"Yes of course my love." She grabs my arm and we walk down the hall. I get some Doritos from the vending machine and I chow them down.

"Forget to chew?" Mom asks while chuckling.

"Shut up mom." I say laughing.

I get a call and it's the doctor. I hesitate for a minute knowing this could be the end of a future with Braylen but I know I will have to find out sooner or later. I answer it.
