I wake up to the smell of bacon. Before I can completely open my eyes Braylen is there talking to me. "Wake up baby." He says softly. "Good mornin'" I say. "I made you breakfast since you were sick last night." He says. "Oh my God thank you Bray that's so sweet I can't thank you enough for being so sweet to me." I say. "Oh it's no problem." He says smiling. He grabs my hand and leads me to the table and pulls out a chair for me. My food is already sitting on a plate for me not just bacon put pancakes to. It's really going to put a damper on my relationship when I drop the pregnancy bomb. I take a bite and these are literally the best pancakes I've ever had. Why is he so perfect and why is this such a perfectly wrong situation. "You like them?" He asks as he sits down with a piece of bacon hanging out of his mouth. "Yes so good how'd you c f0-,olake these?" I ask intensely. "Secret recipe passed all the way from Rosa Parks to me." He says. I chuckle. " Isn't she African American?" I say. "Yeah and?" He says. "You're white." I say laughing. "That don't mean a thang'." He says. We laugh together. He kisses me on my forehead. I decided it was time. "Bray I have something to tell you." I say.
