"Did you like it babe?" Braylen says when the movie ends. "Yes but I like you more." I say. He kisses me. "Well I better get you home we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow." He says. We kiss one more time and he grabs my hand and leads me to the car. Once I get in the car I basically pass out. When I wakeup I am in my bed. And Braylen is next to me. I lean over and kiss him because I know once we wake up it could come all to an end. I fall back asleep fast. When I wake up Braylen is still asleep. I get up and put some scrubby clothes on for my ultra sound. My mom is taking me. I made it for 7:30 am because I knew Braylen would be asleep. I lock the door with my key and head out of my apartment. I see my mom parked outside. I get in the car. "How's my daughter and my grandbaby?" She questions. "We're good." I smile. "Wow what changed your mood about this baby?" She says. "I don't know I just am happier and I love Braylen and I'm just going to tell him and if he's happy then good but if he's not there's nothing I can do." I say. "You're right sweetie." My mom says. We have a little more conversation until we get to the obgyn appt. I walk in with my mom right next to me. In the waiting room I see a bunch of pregnant women. I'm pregnant I have to remember that it's so new to me. "Ellis." The front counter woman says. I walk up to the counter. "The doctor will see you now." She says. I walk back to room 3. The doctor comes in immediately. "Hi Ellis and whose this young lady?" He says. "Oh stop it you cute young thing." My mom says. "Okay so lets take a look at you mommy to be, lay on this and pull your shirt up please just enough to see your whole belly." He says. I do as told. He then starts putting this weird gel on me spreading it around with this tool connected to a machine. "The heart beat sounds good." He says after moving it around for a little bit. "So whose the lucky father?" He asks. "His name is Braylen." I say. "Braylen is he a lawyer?" The doctor asks. "Yes." I answer. "Blonde hair always spiked?" He asks. This is getting weird. "Yes." I say. "That's my brother! He didn't tell me he was expecting." The doctor says. FUCK I think to myself.
