I stood up as the bell went on tuesday for lunch smiling as most of the day had gone by and I would be going shopping with Chloe and the boys also picking up replacement headlight.
Than after that I would be greeted by my crazy dad and staying with him in a hotel for the rest of the week. Meaning more away time from Tabby and her frequent guest that for some reason was being everywhere at the dorm.
I flopped down on the table that I had sat at on the first day of school.
"You were waiting for me weren't you," Blake cooed coming up with the rest of the boys.
"In your dreams sunshine," I said rolling my eyes at him.
"Every night Jackie," he smirked.
"Guys your flirting is suffocating me," Scott joked gagging.
"Oh please Scott, you just be jealous of my sexiness," I said playfully gesturing down my body.
"You sound like you have a bigger ego than Jesse," Chloe pointed out rolling her eyes.
"I don't have a big ego, I just know that what I am," Jesse defended.
"Dorky? Strange? Full of himself?" I guessed.
"No sexy, god like, and once some chic told me I smelt nice," he grinned.
"Kinky," Blake snickered.
"You guys are idiots," I said rolling my eyes at them.
"Quick Jackie twelve o'clock, the little goodie goodie," Scott smirked and I looked in that direction to see Jordan approaching.
"Jordy!" I smiled getting off my seat and running to him.
"Hey Jackie," he laughed as I hugged him.
"Looking for Britty?" I asked pulling out of the hug.
"Yeah," he said sheepishly.
"Well I'll help you find her," I grinned tugging him back to the table so I could pick up my bag.
"Guys Jordan," I smiled gesturing towards him.
"We know," Jesse snapped glaring at Jordan.
"Oh yeah..." I said awkwardly remembering when they had met.
"Hey Jordy, how's Jay?" Blake asked.
"Pissed that his car was painted pink with Jackie's name over it," he chuckled and I grinned.
"I'm sorry but it was his late birthday present," I shrugged.
"I thought making out with him was," Blake snickered and I whacked him on the back of the head.
"In my defence I was hopelessly drunk," I pointed out.
"Although you weren't when you kissed me," Zac smirked.
"Shut up," I grumbled.
"Oh Jackie's blushing," Scott laughed, Zac shot me a secret look probably remembering why I did kiss him. To get the all dark and handsome guy jealous.
"And that's my cue to leave," I announced grabbing my bag and hurrying off pulling Jordan with me.
"Two guys one night?" Jordan laughed once we were away from them.
"Yeah, yeah, let's just find your girlfriend," I grumbled pushing him so he stumbled a bit.
"Well I haven't actually asked her..." He trailed off and I stopped and stared at him.
"Why?" I asked throwing my hands into the air.
"I don't know how," he admitted.
"She likes you, a lot, even though she glares at when ever I see her, I think it would be killing her waiting for you, so ask, ask soon," I told him sternly.
"What if she says no?" He asked quietly.
"Than she's an idiot and doesn't know what she's doing," I smiled at him.
"Okay I need to pee so I shall be back," I smiled walking off in the direction of the girls bathroom.
"I told you were a failure, you couldn't even keep your friends, your pathetic," I heard someone snarl as I opened the door.
"You, my dear friend, better fuck off," I said coldly as I walked in stopping the verbal fight that was taking place. Kate flinched at my words as Britty sobbed harder.
"Let her fight her own battles Skye, that's at least one thing she can do," Kate spat turning to face me.
"Last name basis? Thats cool. But believe me when I say that if I see or hear you saying anything hurtful to anyone, I will make your life a living hell," I said firmly my voice unwavering.
"Why do you even give a shit about that pathetic piece of shit? Your not even friends," she shot back.
"I fail to see your point, now get out or I'll make you," I huffed pointing to the door.
"Make me? If I remember you were the one in hospital because of me," she laughed humourlessly.
"And you had a nice bruise from just one punch," I pointed out.
"Well I'm not leaving, because I'm not done," she said simply and I smiled sweetly at her.
"I so hoped you'd say that," walking up to her I grabbed her wrist and in one quick motion I twisted it around her back holding it there. She cried out as I put pressure onto it and pushed her through the door.
"Stay away from everyone Kate, your threats mean nothing an your names are just getting old," I snapped pushing her to the ground.
"Bitch," she spat up at me.
"Only for you," I smirked turning around and walking back into the bathrooms.
"Come here," I said softly hugging a sobbing Britty to me.
"It's alright," I whispered handing her a bit of toilet paper, she wiped her eyes and nose.
"She's right," I heard Britty whisper.
"No she's not," I disagreed.
"She is, I'm pathetic," she sobbed.
"No, your not pathetic and you never will be, no matter what she says your not a failure, your the best you can be and if that's not enough for some people, than stuff them," I whispered softly.
"Thank you Jackie for everything," she smiled slightly up at me.
"It's fine," I shrugged.
"And I'm sorry, for ignoring you, for basically choosing Tabby over you, I'm sorry," she apologised.
"I'm used to being second best anyway I had other things on my mind," I sighed.
"I'm still sorry," she mumbled.
"It's fine," I shrugged and she hugged me.
"Now lets get you up because I kinda left your boyfriend waiting outside," I smiled as she dried the last of her tears and stood up.
"Can you get him?" She asked me I nodded my head and doing as she wished.
"Jordy, stop being loner your girlfriend wants you," I smirked at him as there was still a crowd gathered around and Jordan was standing their awkwardly while the girls ogled him.
"Britty? Is she okay?" He asked panic in his voice.
"She's fine she just wants you," I smiled reassuringly and he bolted into the girls bathroom without another thought.
"Guys nothing to see so please leave," I told the crowd pointedly an they hurried away.
"What happened?" Someone asked sharply seeming to be angry at something.
"What do you mean?" I asked frowning at Jesse's sharp words.
"Why do you just so happen to be sleeping with everyone in the group?" He snapped at making my frown deepen.
"I'm not sleeping with anyone," I defended shooting him a glare.
"Than why have you made out with me, Zac, Jay and probably that loser Jordan. Oh and you've spent a whole lunch with Blake," he pointed out and my face darkened.
"What are you trying to say Jesse? That I'm a slut? Because if you are just spit it out," I snarled.
"Yes I am saying that, I see you with all the guys including Mr Taylor your probably nailing him too," he spat.
"He is my fucking teacher you idiot and I haven't slept with anyone!" I yelled at him.
"Oh really, I'm sorry if I find that hard to believe considering your always flirting with everyone you meet," he snapped.
"Fuck you," I growled.
"Yeah because than you would of fucked everyone," he bit out.
"Where is this coming from?" I asked trying to calm my anger.
"Where's what coming from? You've always been a slut but now your just showing it more," he shrugged seeming as he had gotten bored of the conversation.
"You know what Jesse go jump off a cliff everyone would be much happier if you did," I snarled spinning around and storming into the bathroom. What a prick.
But really what the actual hell just happened? We were fine and than bam!
"Are you okay Britty?" I asked sucking it up and being there for her would be the best thing to do.
"Nuh uh missy I saw your expression what happen?" She asked giving me a pointed look.
"You know the usual, people keep calling me a slut, people are stupid and people don't know shit about me," I grumbled.
"Is people being Jesse?" She asked softly and I nodded my head.
"Yeah he just came up to me and called me a slut for no reason, so I told him to jump off a cliff," I smiled slightly at the last part.
"Can I punch him?" Jordan asked with a hard look on his face.
"No," I smiled shaking my head, "I seriously am just over today."
"Do you want me to drop you home?" Jordan asked.
"Nah I'm have to go shops after school, I'll be fine," I shrugged.
I groaned as the bell went and Jordan kissed Britty goodbye blushing Britty smiled and made her way out of the bathroom.
"You guys are the cutest," I cooed as we walked down the halls.
"But he hasn't asked me yet... Jackie what if I'm just a fling or something?" She asked her voice going quiet.
"Your not," I grinned at her.
"But what if-" she started.
"No what's ifs, no buts that boy is head over heals for you, you know how stupid he looks when at the sound of your name puts a goofy smile on his face. It's ridiculous that he hasn't asked you I know, but he will," I told her as we arrived at her class.
"Thanks Jackie, for today, for Jordan, for everything," she smiled and slipped inside.
I slowly walked to humanities knowing that Jesse was in my next class, I could only hoped he had ditched for the rest of the day. Or you know taken my advise and jumped off a cliff....
I frowned slightly wondering what I had done to get that reaction from him. Pushing open the door I pursed my lips looking around the room.
I scolded myself when my eyes met with familiar brown eyes. "Jackie your late can you just take a seat?" Mr Peg asked bored.
"Nope I'm leaving," I said popping the 'p' and turning around exit the room.
I heard someone mutter something along the lines of 'no surprise there.' I growled under my breath shooting the dark hair boy a death glare and storming out flipping him off before I left.
I walked randomly down the halls having nothing to do I slumped down on a seat in a random hallway.
"You should be in class," a voice pointed out and I snapped my head in the direction it came from. I smiled slightly as it was just Toby.
"Hey Mr, yeah I should but some prick is in my class so I decided to ditch," I shrugged.
"Would that prick be Jesse?" He asked sitting next to me.
"How'd you know?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"Physic," he shrugged and I chucked at his answer.
"Sure, sure," I chucked.
"It's true I betcha that someone is going to come down this hall looking for you in, three..... Two.... One..." I laughed shaking my head at him but frowned when my name was called.
"Jackie Rose Skye, I know that skipping is considered cool and all but you could of at least came to hang with me," my father pouted looking like a three year old.
"I'm pretty sure your suppose to get mad at me for skipping," I rolled my eyes at him standing up with Toby.
"Pfft.. I was going to ask you to skip anyway," he grinned.
"Well dad, Toby Taylor my drama teach and Toby my dad Damian Skye," I said trying to sound professional.
"Nice to meet you," Toby smiled shaking my dads hand.
"Nice to meet you too," he said uncomfortable and not making eye contact with Toby, weird.
"Come on dad lets go, I'll see you next period mr Taylor," I smiled waving at Toby and pulling my dad along with me.
"You wanna get coffee?" My dad asked when we reached the front of the school.
"Sure, your shout," I smiled and dad pulled out the keys to a yellow hummer.
"Where'd you get the hummer?" I asked as we slid into the flash ride.
"Brought it," my dad shrugged.
"And when are you going to use it?" I questioned.
"I'll probably sell it," he shrugged again and I rolled my eyes at him.
"So why are you early? I thought you weren't arriving until six," I said changing the subject.
"Got an earlier flight," he smiled and we pulled up at a neat coffee shop.
Walking inside I smiled at the fresh smell of coffee beans and ordered a chocolate latte.
We sat down at a window table and I frowned as I noticed dad looking for something, or someone.
I growled under my breath at the blonde bimbo walked through the doors. Couldn't she just leave me alone? Like seriously?
"You set this up," I frowned at my dad and he looked guilty at his shoes.
"I'm sorry but you need to talk," he said firmly and Tanya walked over to the table.
"Jackie," she greeted coldly.
"Slut," I said back but dad elbowed me in the ribs.
"I mean Tanya," I said shooting dad a death glare.
"Bitch," I heard her mutter and dad raised and eyebrow at her.
"Heard that," I said in a sing song voice.
"Was suppose too," she muttered again and dad sighed laying his head on the table.
"Jackie she is your mother don't be such a pain and Tanya grow up and stop being so childish," he snapped at us as we started to bicker.
"Biological," I corrected and he groaned.
"Did you know she races?" Tanya asked and I knew where she was going with this.
"Yeah, and I fully support it, if it makes her happy than it makes me happy," dad shrugged.
"That its illegal?" She tried again.
"Yeah," he shrugged again.
"That she gets death threats?" She asked with a smirk on her face.
"You do?" He asked directing his attention at me.
"Yeah, but all they did was try and wreck my bike," I shrugged.
"Is that why your not in your bikey gear?" He questioned and I nodded.
"Yeah, this Friday it'll be better than new," I smiled reassuringly.
"Let me guess you fixed it yourself?" He chuckled lightly.
"Yeah, I told you I'd never give my bike to a mechanic," I smiled.
"What about all the hospital bills?" He asked now.
"Well the first one was because I fell off my bike but not at the races, the second one was when I got into a cat fight with this chick at school and because of my blood deficiency it caused me to faint so they took my there and the last one I didn't have any real damage on me," I explained.
"So why were you there?" He pressed.
"Because I was stressed, this bitch tried attacking me an I caught my boyfriend making out with someone else," I grumbled.
"I did not try attacking you," Tanya growled.
"You piece of shit! I loved him!" I mimicked her words in an overly high pitch tone.
"You took him away from me, he was the only person that made me happy," she snapped.
"What about dad? You were married, and he knew. You don't deserve to be happy from all the shit you and that hoe put me through," I snarled at her glaring.
"Wait, what did he do to you?" My dad cut in and I mentally hit myself.
"Nothing," I muttered considering that was the one thing I hadn't told him, he didn't know I got beat up, and he never had too.
"Jackie you tell me or so help me god I will cut off your money," he threatened.
"I don't care about money," I shrugged.
"I'll take away your bike," he tried again.
"I can always borrow one an than use the money from the races to buy a new one," I shot back even though I couldn't.
"I'll take away your phone."
"I don't use it anyway."
"I'll stop paying for your dorm."
"I have friends to crash with."
"I'll tell the races that your a girl."
"I'll get someone to stand in my place when they ask."
"I'll turn you into the cops."
"I'm best friends with the deputy."
"I'll tell the school what you get up too."
"Hannah loves me too much, I'm her entertainment."
"I'll pull you out of Jai boarding school."
"There's a public school with my other friends down the road."
"I'll stop paying for your hospital bills."
"I doubt you'll let your only daughter die."
"You are hopeless I am never going to win," he grumbled giving up.
"I'm not telling you what happened dad you don't need to know, plus I've dealt with it and its in the past," I shrugged finishing off my latte and getting up.
"Oh and Tanya, please could you just go home," I said glaring at her as I pushed open the door and headed in the direction of my school.
But little did I know that Tanya had a better reason for being her than just to piss me off.
**
I really regretted ditching my ride.
Like really, really.
I huffed pushing open the door to the drama room and walking in.
"Thought you had skipped my class too," mr Taylor pouted.
"Don't ever storm out of a coffee shop if you don't have a ride," I told him, he laughed at me as the Loves walked over to me.
"Why'd you ditch humanities?" Scott asked frowning.
"Didn't want to sit next to Jesse, for some reason he just totally snapped," I shrugged and the two boys frowned.
"Well he was really off about something, like he was grumpy and sad at the same time," Scott smiled sadly.
"Weird, he's only ever been acted like that when-" Blake started but cut himself off before he spilled something.
We all raised our eyebrows at him silently asking him to continue. "Uh, never mind," he muttered.
"Blake..?" I dragged out frowning.
He breathed out before answering, "last time he looked like shit was when he was betrayed, Jesse don't trust easily, and when he does you can't take it for granted," he sighed shaking his head.
"So what? How did I break his trust?" I grumbled when everyone turned to me.
"Did you lie to him?" Britty asked.
"Well I don't think so," I frowned.
"Usually it has to be something bigger," Blake smiled sadly.
"I give up you know what wake me up when the lessons over I have too much shit on my mind to be dealing with him," I muttered laying down on the floor.
"Why? What happened?" Britty asked softly.
"Well dad came back and made me go to this cafe to meet Tanya and talk. Long story short I ended up walking back to school," I yawned closing my eyes.
"Should of rang I would of picked you up," I heard Blake mutter.
"Well if it isn't little miss slut and her hoes," I heard someone laugh bitterly, cracking open an eye I glanced at the annoying bitch named Kate.
"Sup Kate whatcha up to?" I asked and smiled when everyone looked at me like I had grown another head.
"Are you trying to get on my good side because of all the shit I know about you?" She asked darkly.
"Nah just wanted to know," I shrugged closing my eyes again.
"Wait, what?" All the loves asked at the same time.
"Calm down guys, I told you I wasn't in the mood to be nasty so at the moment I really don't care," I shrugged.
"Are you sick?" Britty asked.
"Nope just tired," I yawned for effect.
"Are you still good to go to the mall after school?" Scott questioned.
"Yeah I'm fine I need to get some stuff anyway," I shrugged again rolling onto my stomach.
"Okay I'll wake you up when class is over," some said but I was already half unconscious.
