It had been two and a half weeks since school had started. My next race was Friday, in two days.

Me, Tabby and Britty hung out every day and we found a bench under a tree to sit at. Occasionally the boys would come over and talk to us but they wouldn't stay all lunch.

I had won the bet on who could get a detention first by 'causing a havoc'. The detention lasted half of lunch and Jesse had waited for me because that was the deal, he also had to buy me lunch.

I got to know a few people and they said hello when I walked past them in the halls. Tabby had also made some friends as well as she also got hellos.

"Miss Skye!" Mrs Hoyt yelled at me and I lifted my head off the desk.

"Yeah?" I asked giving her a puzzled look and Tabby silently laughed at me.

"Are you sleeping during my lesson?" She asked.

"No I was smelling the desk," I said rolling my eyes and leaning back on my chair.

"Don't get smart with me!" She snapped.

"Not my fault I have smart replies," I sighed running a hand through my hair.

"Go to the principles office now and take Jesse with you, he is mimicking me," she added and I looked to see Jesse putting his hand puppet down.

"Thank you," I smiled as I put my books in my bag and headed for the door. "I'll see you later Tabby and Britty," I called walking out the door and Jesse followed.

"Little miss bad girl are we?" Jesse smirked as I walked the to known path to the principles office.

"Hmm... Are you my bad boy?" I asked with a smirk.

"No, I'm The bad boy, I rule this school," he said nudging my elbow.

"Jeez your ego must be huge," I said rolling my eyes and walking down a corridor that had the principles office at the end.

In seconds I had slipped on a discarded paper and was falling on my face. I let out a yelp and held my hands in front of my face to stop the impact that never came.

I peeked open my eye and came face to face with Jesse. He was lying on his back and his hands clutched on my hips protecting me from the ground.

He smirked at me and I felt a blush rise on my checks. "Sorry," I apologized sitting up. His hands were still on my hips and he sat up too. I was practically straddling him but he didn't let go of my hips.

A lock of black hair fell over his eyes and I tucked it away and behind his ear. "Thank you," I whispered in his ear as that was all I could manage at our close proximity.

"Anytime," he whispered back and I looked into his darken brown eyes. There were a mixture of emotions going through his eyes and I swear one of them was lust. No that couldn't be right...

Just as I was having a silent argument on what I should do Jesse's lips captured and I melted into the kiss, it felt so right but wrong at the same time.

"Jesse?" I breathed heavily as we parted from the kiss.

"Sorry, instinct," he smirked.

"Come on we gotta go get our detention slips," I said pulling him towards the office.

I knocked once and than opened the door. I was greeted by the cheerful principle that for some reason absolutely loved me.

"Jackie! Nice to see you, what have you done now?" She asked cheerfully.

"I'm to smart with my words apparently," I pretended to smile sadly.

"Well my office is probably better than Mrs Hoyt's classroom," she smiled. "Oh Jesse, you're here too?," she said noticing Jesse behind me.

"We both got in trouble," I informed her.

"She also doesn't like hand puppets," Jesse shrugged.

"Well Jackie, Jesse can help you with the filing cabinet, you started last time" the principle smile.

"Thanks principle Hannah," I smiled and pulled Jesse to the back of the room where the half sorted filing cabinets were.

"Do we really have to sort through that?" Jesse moaned.

"Yeah, it's pretty fun actually, you get to see everyone's records," I smirked at him and opened the first draw.

I pulled out the stack of papers that hadn't been sorted and sat down on the ground with them.

"This is going to be a boring detention," Jesse grumbled sitting down beside me and looking at the papers over my shoulder.

"Jesse Victor Frey, he has a sister named Zoe Lilly Frey...interesting," I smirked reading his record. "Was arrested twice, once for underage drinking and the other for illegal racing," I read jumping up as he tried to get the paper.

"Has average grades, troublemaker, biker," I read and Jesse finally snatched the paper back.

"Not fair I was reading that," I pouted an he smirked pulling out another paper from behind his back.

"Jackie Rose Skye, moved schools this year, was arrested in her old town five times, twice for underage drinking and three times for street racing," he smirked and I tried to reach for my record.

"B average student, detentions recently, troublemaker, biker," he listed off and I full on tackled him knocking us both over.

I landed again straddling him again and he smiled up at me. I leaned down to his face and reached my hand up snatching my paper, "gotcha," I smirked inches away from his face.

"It's not nice to tease," he pouted and in seconds he had flipped us over so I was on my back. His legs were in between mine and he was propping himself on his elbows.

"Who said I was teasing?" I smirked and wrapped my arms around his neck bringing his face closer to mine.

He leant down the rest of the way and cupped my cheek with his hand. I ran my fingers through his silky hair and moved my lips in sync. The kiss was passionate but not rough, he nibbled at my bottom lip asking for entrance and I gladly gave it to him.

He slipped his tongue into my mouth and explored it, running over all my teeth. It felt like hours that we kissed but it was probably only minutes.

We finally pulled apart and I looked up into his captivating brilliant brown eyes and smiled. I was snapped back into reality by a smirking principle clearing her throat.

"The bell has gone... So you can go to lunch forget your detention, I have to step out anyways," she informed us and walked off.

"Here," Jesse smirked and offered me his hand pulling me up.

"Thanks," I smiled taking his hand and getting off the ground.

We walked silently and parted our separate ways when we got to the door. I walked to the tree, and touched my lips as they were still tingly from the kiss.

"Okay we're ditching," Tabby informed me pulling me up.

"Why?" I asked confused.

"I really can't deal with school, Kate, or anyone in general, I need to ditch," she informed me.

"We have to find Britty," I told Tabby and she pulled me towards the girls bathroom.

There were muffled sobs coming from a stall as we walked in. "Britty, I got Jackie, come on come out," Tabby said sadly.

"No," she sobbed and walked up to the closed door.

"Britty honey what happened?" I asked.

"Kate," she sobbed and I looked to Tabby for more info but she said nothing.

"Please open the door," I said softly.

"No," she sobbed harder.

I pulled out a paper clip from my bag and unlocked the door, don't ask where I learned it you really don't want to know.

I saw Britty with a mascara stained face and tears everywhere. I pulled her into a hug and hugged her tightly.

"Now what happen?" I asked softly.

"She is so mean Jackie, she's so mean to me. She embarrassed me in front of the whole school, she said I was a failure," she sobbed and I passed her onto Tabby.

"I'll be back," I informed them and stormed towards the canteen.

"Don't do anything to stupid!" I heard Tabby call after me.

I reached the doors and walked in looking around for Kate. The sight I saw was much worse Kate was eating Jesse's face off, and he wasn't pushing her away either.

I tried not to gag, and anger boiled up in me more. I stalked up to them tearing them apart. I glared at Jesse and slapped him right across the face, "don't ever kiss me again, especially if your kissing her after me," I snapped at him and turned towards a smirking Kate.

"Do you every fucking hurt my friends again, you have no right to go after them. Don't you ever tell anyone their a failure, Britty is in the bathroom crying her eyes out because of you," I punched her in the face and she fell to the ground.

"Don't fuck with my friends ever, or I will do worse," I sneered at her and stormed off in the direction that I came.

I walked back to Britty and smiled sadly. "Come on let's get out of here," I said and we walked to my bike.

"I'll take her in my car we'll meet at home," Tabby informed me and they walked over to her car.

I waited until they left before I pulled on my helmet and jacket.

"Jackie!" I heard someone call and I turned in the direction to see Blake and Scott.

"Yeah?" I asked flipping my visor up so I could see them better.

"What happen to Britty?" They asked and walked up to my bike.

"Kate," I said with venom. "I dealt with it and were taking her back to the dorm," I informed them.

"Thank you," Scott smiled.

"What was that with Jesse?" Blake asked.

"His a jerk and I refused to be part of it," I said with a sigh.

"Wait you didn't know? His a player Jackie always has been, he doesn't do relationships his excuse being his waiting for the right one," Blake pointed out.

"I can't believe I fell for that," I sighed fixing my helmet. "I was hoping he was still the same guy as when I met him."

"Sorry Jackie," Scott smiled sadly hugging me with Blake.

"It's alright guys. I'll see you tomorrow," I smiled and they pulled away.

I flipped my visor down and started my bike. The crackle of the engine put a smile on my face and I waved goodbye to Blake and Scott.

I swear I saw Jesse standing in the shadows of the door but I brushed it aside and drove out of the parking lot.

I took a detour home because I needed to clear my head. It was around an half-an-hour after lunch when I arrived at the dorms.

"Hey Lola baby," I smiled picking up the golden Labrador and stroking its fur.

"Hey Jackie is it alright if Britty stays here tonight?" Tabby asked quietly as I walked into the lounge room.

"Yeah sure, I told your brothers what happened," I smiled at Britty sitting next to her and wrapping my arms around her.

"What did you do to Kate?" Britty asked.

"I punched her in front of the whole school and yelled at her for what she did to you," I said coldly.

"Thank you Jackie," Britty said quietly hugging me back.

The door bell rang and Tabby stood up to get it, she came back later with Jesse and I glared at him.

"What do you want?" I snapped at him letting go of Britty.

"Can we talk?" He asked pleading me with his eyes.

"Whatever," I said walking to the kitchen.

"Look I'm sorry I shouldn't of done it, I know, I'm really sorry," he apologized.

"I don't want you sorry's," I pointed out, "I really don't give a shit, your not the same guy that I used to know and today you've shown your true colours," I sighed running my fingers through my hair.

The door bell rang again and I walked over and opened it the face I was met with was extremely unexpected.
