Dad woke me up at 6 AM so that we could be ready by the time the packers arrived. I lazily moved out of my bed and stepped into the shower enjoying the hot water until I had to go eat breakfast.

Surprisingly we all ended up having cereal for breakfast. Dad and I usually have it every day but mum argues that it's not healthy and fulfilling enough for us to survive on the whole day.

After breakfast there wasn't much for me to do. The packers arrived and mum ordered me to sit in the lounge and not make a mess. I would also like to add that it was an immensely boring day until Bethany came and we went out for lunch with my friends. It was our last day together in what I predicted would be a long time. In light of that, all of us stayed out for a few hours and exchanged our goodbyes when my parents called to have me come back home.

Upon returning I quickly changed (again) into the outfit mum left out so that it won't be packed in the boxes since the clothes I was wearing now were a little messy and we had to leave for our flight in 1 hour. I jumped in the shower cleaned up in 5 minutes (new record everybody....I deserve a round of applause. Moving on) wrapped a towel around me and raced to my cupboard. I breathed a sigh of relief since the clothes she left out were very comfortable and very appropriate for sleeping in an airplane.

I walked down the stairs looking at the now empty house that was filled with memories in every corner. Falling and hurting myself on the stairs. Running around the house while dad chased me and I would stop looking in front of me and look back at him consequently running into a wall. Baking for the first time with mum in the kitchen and falling off the kitchen counter. All these memories came flashing back when I looked at the house. It was...is empty and lonely completely lifeless and did I mention boring.

I sat on the cold marble tiles waiting for mum and dad to come downstairs I was so deep in all my thoughts I didn't realize that they were sitting next to me.

"Honey we are really sorry that you have to leave all this behind."

"It's okay mum you don't have to apologize to me and anyways it's just senior year I have to get through then I'll be off to college"

And then mum went in for a bear hug and those are not good. You can't breathe.

"Mum..I think...we should..Get going now..." I said between breathes

We walked to the door and gave the house one last glance before we had to say goodbye to it forever and we made our way to the airport.

I slept through the entire flight. I was so tired that I woke up to dad shaking me and telling me that we had arrived. Reaching my new house I took a good look at it and I was happy with it already. It was a big place, not mansion big but comfortable for the three of us. When we came in to take a look at it the furniture had already been placed around the house to be set up and the boxes were left which would be unpacked in the morning per my mother's instructions.
