The End

~7 years later~

"Congratulations Miss Adams, your contract has been finalized and we will let you know when we hold our next meeting."

I shook his hand and met with everyone else who will now be an important part for the next 2 years of my life. As soon as I exited the building my phone began to ring, I smiled when I saw it was Allison.

"Valarie are you done with the meeting? How did it go? Give me good news!" she said as soon as I picked up the phone.

"Yes I'm done with the meeting, it went great and the contract is finalized and they will be holding a few meetings soon."

"That is amazing ,I'm so happy for you."

"And how is you honeymoon going?" I teased her

"amazing actually oh and Scott says hi"

"You guys should have dinner with me and Alex when you get back, we have so much to talk about."

"Oh when are you meeting Alex?"

"Tonight, I'm having lunch with brody and he is here to pick me up so I will call you later."

"byee."

"byee."

I said and cut the phone as I got in the car with my brother and I was greeted with his 3 year old adorable daughter, Angela

"Aunt valarie !"

"Hi sweetie! I missed you." I said as I hugged her and she sat in my lap.

"So how did it go ?" brody asked

"Amazing! We will be having a few meetings and then I can finally start working on the project."

"I'm guessing you and your boyfriend will be having a celebratory dinner tonight."

"yeah I'm having dinner with him today ." a little surprised by how accurate his remark was

"dad where are we going?' angela asked

"We are going to have lunch with mummy and aunt valarie."

in the last 7 years lots of things took place, all of us graduated university with our degrees, Allison and Scott got married recently and I was her maid of honor while Alex was his best man .I have started working with a really big publishing house and just finalized my book contract, soon I will start writing my first novel. Over the years my parents and Alex's parents started a law firm together and slowly became one of the best firms. Alex is now officially a lawyer and he recently started working in our parents law firm. brody also got married to his girlfriend of almost 4 years, they got married when they were 24 now he's 28 and its been 4 years to their marriage and they also have a 3 year old daughter. Logan went to business school and he is now working with his father and there company is one of the biggest in the UK.

After lunch with brody and his family I went to my apartment and changed into a black long sleeved dress which came up to my thighs . I went to the basement and drove my car to Alex's place which wasn't as far away from mine.

When I entered his apartment the lights were dim and he waited for me at the door of the balcony with his hands in his pockets, he was wearing a white button down and looked amazing, just like he always does. I placed my purse on the counter and walked towards him as he greeted me with a smile, I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him .

"What's all this?"

"We're celebrating."

"What?"

"A lot of things, our anniversary, your contract, my promotion and 1 more thing ."

"You got promoted babe that's amazing." he chuckled at my reaction

"Junior partner, And you got the contract!"

"I did!" I said as I jumped in excitement

"Come on sit down, I'll bring dinner."

I made my way to the balcony and sat on the table he has set up, I loved this part of his apartment. it was on the highest floor and gave a beautiful view of the city . It's even more beautiful at sunrise and sunset, and we are 20 minutes from admiring the sunset right now. ale brought the dinner which was finger licking good, he's getting good at cooking so he can treat me in his free time or when I'm tired .

"Babe this is too good."

He smiled at me and suddenly his smile faded "sunshine, I need to talk to you about something."

"Yeah" I said as a sudden wave of panic rising

"It's a question , and I just have to ask it right now and its okay if you can't give me the answer right now I can wait for your answer. "

"Alex just ask ."

"okay so let me get started , today as the most perfect day , we have been together for 7 years and this day marks it all, we both are succeeding in life and this day we celebrate it with each other . And I thought we could celebrate one more thing as the sunsets because I know how much you love sunsets -"

I looked over my shoulder and he was right, the sun was setting. For a moment I forgot what we were talking about and I was completely lost in the scenery in front of us. Alex took advantage of this distraction and he came next to me and got down on one knee as he brought out a beautiful ring. After the sun set I turned around to face him and was very surprised to see him bend down on one knee. Slowly the moment set in and my brain understood what was happening. Unable to form words I simply nodded my head frantically.

I hugged him again as he kissed me, this moment would surely remain forever in our hearts.

I love you Alex Jackson, more than anything on this earth.

this is officially the end of 'the bad boy and the new girl ' this has been an amazing journey one of the most memorable and I cant thank you all enough for all the support . this book could not have gotten to where it is without all of you and all the love you guys have shown . now I wont be abandoning this book , I will be giving you all bonus chapters. and I don't know if you realized but I tried my best to show you every characters life and how things have turned out for them so that no question is left unresolved .
