chapter 19: day 10 (part 1)

AUTHORS NOTE:

okay so warning right now. this chapter is divided into 2 parts the second part is very long so this one is a little start of and glimpse of what will happen in the next one. and this is also a bit shorter then my last few ones but trust me when I say this it will make up for everything. :)

"Okay so class can I have all eyes on the board please." and that was when I completely lost concentration in my chemistry class. No pun intended.

I hate chemistry from the bottom of my heart and I would yell this from the top of my lungs. Oh and even better, its first period today. I mean who cares about this I know I don't and the only reason I chose this subject is because it follows biology around like a love sick puppy everywhere. Guess what? If you want to study biology then get ready for a plus one more like two: chemistry and physics.

I can't handle any more of this I am done and being the idiot me I forgot that there was much more happening apart from my imagination so I let my head fall with my arms crossed on the table.

"Miss Adams are you okay?"

The sound of my name being announced woke me up from my day dream. "ahh ..Yea I mean yes wha- why would you ask that?" of course I had to talk way more then I needed to.

"You just set your head down on the table. Are you feeling okay?"

"Yea - just just a little sick that's all. I'll be okay"

"Perhaps you should pay a visit to the nurse" she said holding the exit slip towards me. okay I am getting way more attention then I need and this is just a free pass out of chemistry so what could possibly go wrong.

"Um I think I probably should thank you." I grabbed my book under one arm and slung my bag on my shoulder and walked towards the table and grabbed the slip from the hand reaching out towards me. I walked faster towards the door feeling a bit embarrassed on having all eyes on me. I shut the door behind me and let out a huge breathe I didn't realize I was holding in. Okay so I'm not sick, I have the pass to the nurses office, what now?

I walked towards the parking lot still thinking on what to do and just them my brain had another one of its amazing yet rebellious but also adventurous idea. Well You Only Live Once right? I unlocked my phone and opened my contacts list. I may deeply regret this and he may not pick up. I mean why would he skip school on me asking, but it's all worth a try. I clicked his name on my screen and the phone rang for a total of 5 seconds after which he picked up the call.

"Sunshine how may I help you on this fine evening?"

"Remember when you said that I should call you if I ever want to skip school?"

"Where are you?"

"Parking lot"

"I'll be there in 5 minutes. Don't move."

And he cut the call before I could say anything "well it's not like I can fly to unicorn land now can I." I said to myself. Just as he had stated he was in front of me in 5 minutes.

"How exactly did you manage to convince your mind on doing this?"

"Geez nice to see you to"

"Sunshine?"

"Okay fine so I might have put my head down during class, my teacher asked me if I was sick I might have said yes and here we are."

"Okay so you want to go now?"

"Not just yet I mean what about school .I have the slip but isn't the nurse suppose to inform the teacher and if I don't go back my teacher will call my parents . What do we do about all that?"

"Do you have the slip?"

"Right here!" I said literally shoving the slip in his face. His neck immediately craned back and his hand reached towards mine wrapping his hand around my tiny fist and gently taking the slip. "No need to literally push it in my face , and now to fix your problem give me 10 minutes I will return with success oh and don't move." he said as he half walked half jogged inside the school and I was left leaning next to someone's Prius, again.

Just as he said again he returned with a huge grin on his face.

"Okay so what did you do?"

"I asked the nurse to do us a favor and tell your teacher you're taking a day off and to call your parents and inform them so you are all clear. Speaking off your parents your dad will call you in about-"

Exactly then he was cut off by the phone ringing. The screen lit up to DAD on the screen . I clicked answer and before I could say something I was bombarded with questions

"Honey are you okay? Your school just called telling your sick? Is everything okay? you're not hurt are yo-"

"Dad calm down I'm just feeling a bit under the weather . I'm headed home and I will be okay. Okay?"

"Okay then. Me and your mother will talk to you at night okay?"

"Okay dad, I remember."

"Take care!"

"Bye dad!"

"Well now that we got that out of the way can we get going now?"

"Indeed we can on the ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME!" I yelled and I'm pretty sure anyone in little distance heard me; Alex on the other hand chuckled in response.

"Okay sunshine let go."

AUTHORS NOTE:

I honestly thought this chapter would be a couple hundred words but it reached 1000 so it isn't that small after all.

and yes the next chapter has so much in it I was getting all excited as I wrote it so I know you guys will love it.
