"Good morning, Rach."
My eyes shot open to see who had given me this morning greeting. It was Quinn.
"Quinn, what are you doing here?" I asked as I turn over in my bed.
"Well, I was about to leave for church but I just wanted to see how your date went with Finn last night." She replied.
"Oh, well it was fine. We had some trouble with Santana but it all worked out."
"Oh... Nothing else you wanna tell me?" She asked.
"No." I answer.
"Well, I guess I'll be on my way." She said as she walked out without a goodbye.
My phone was buzzing on my dresser, so I got out of my bed to go reply. Finn asked to go on a picnic today at 12. I smiled as I answered yes, then put the phone down to ready for the day.
The white sundress with yellow tights, and flats is what I decided on for my outfit. I curled my hair, put on a little bit of makeup, and spritzed rose perfume on.
I looked over at the pink clock on my nightstand. 8:42. I still had a lot of time before my date with Finn, but I didn't know what to do.
I called Quinn, but quickly hung up after remembering she was in church.
After sitting there for a few minutes, my phone started to ring. It was Quinn. I answered.
"I thought you were at church?" I said, confused on why she would call me during god's hour.
"I am, but I forgot to put my phone on silent, and it went of in the middle of prayer, so I checked it and it was you, so I'm out in the hall now because I thought something might be wrong." She said.
"Oh, no. I'm about to go on a picnic with Finn, but I still have a lot of time before I have to go, so before I remembered that you were in church, I called to see if you wanted to hang out." I answer.
"Oh."
There was a short silence.
"I can still hang out if you want." She said.
"What?" I asked.
"I'll just tell my mom I'm sick, and I'll come pick you up and we can go somewhere. The mall, maybe?"
"That sounds great!" I said.
"Great! I'll pick you up in about 20 minutes."
"Okay, see you then." I said, with a smile on my face.

ding-dong!
I ran down the stairs to the door. I peeked through the peep hole, just to make sure I wasn't letting a stranger into my house, before opening it.
Quinn stood there, smiling brightly right at me. "Hi." she said.
She was wearing a beautiful baby blue dress and a soft yellow cardigan that brought out all of her features so elegantly. Her hair was pulled up in a ponytail, looking like the ones she wears to Cheerios practice. She just seemed so bright and happy, and it made me feel happy as well.
"Hello." I answered.
"Should we get going?" She asked, reaching her hand towards mine.
"Let's go." I said, grabbing her hand, and walking out the door.
