Mikey watched from his vantage point above everyone else. His brother was kissing Twilight! He couldn't believe this! He'd seen plenty of people kiss in some of the shows his Sensei would watch late at night, but he'd never EVER seen someone kiss in real life.
They pulled away, blushing furiously and Donnie climbed off of her, shuffling his hooves. "S-sorry..." He mumbled.
She fluttered her ruffled wings to smooth out the feathers. "It's fine Don." She smiled, the tips of her ears still a faint pink.
He swallowed and nodded and the four returned to training.
Mikey paused when he felt someone watching him. He looked around and froze when he saw a Kraang outside the window.
He shot towards it like an arrow, shattering the window and causing a few shards to graze his skin as he tackled the Kraang to the ground, which was further than he thought.
He landed on the brain creature roughly, sending rebound pain up his legs. He glared at the Kraang who squealed and struggled under his hooves.
He heard rapid wing flapping and looked up to see Twilight coming down. Raph leapt out the window and Donnie and Leo teleported to right beside him.
"What's he doing here?!" Leo snapped.
"I dunno. I just saw him watching us through the window."
"Which you then proceeded to break!" Raph slapped him upside the head with his hoof, which hurt more than other times and he rubbed the spot.
Twilight picked up the Kraang with her magic while it continued to struggle and squeak.
"Interesting... It didn't seem to change when it came through the portal," Donnie commented, picking up his staff and poking it with it.
It let out an agonized squeak, causing Mikey to flatten his ears and frown.
Twilight screeched suddenly and dropped the Kraang, placing her hooves on the side of her head.
"Twi?!" Donnie hurried to her side. "Twilight what's wrong?"
"I-I don't know... I heard something in the back of my head and suddenly my magic just... stopped." Her horn glowed but nothing happened.
"My magic... It's gone."
