Dirt Road Romance

The Beginning

Emilyn's POV

I slowly roll off the couch as i noticed the time was getting close to 6. I had spent the whole day lounging around and avoiding the dreaded process of me getting ready. Finally 6 o'clock rolled around and i realized i had to get dressed. I slowly slump upstairs and plug the curling iron in and rummage through my closet. My eye finds my dark fading jeans and my black and gold cut in the back ruffled shirt. I turn on girlfriend by avil langerine and slip under my vanity. I apply eyeshadow and mascara and lipstick. I pull my hair back into a pony tail and begin curling. Curl after curl my hair was close to finished when i dropped the curling iron on my neck and screamed. I quickly grabbed it away from my skin and put a bandaid over it. 

My hair was finally done and i was slipping on my shirt when i heard a knock at the door. "Come in" I yell over the music and i hear my door crack open. I see my aunt shirleys beautiful green eyes peer around the corner as she looks me up and down the stops at my neck. "Oh my word what happened" she screeched coming closer and pulling the bandaid back. "I dropped the curling iron on it" I laughed throwing the bandaid away and slipping on my sandals. "You look beautiful! Just like your mom!" My aunt shirley blushes and causes my face to turn red. "Thank you so much" I say hugging her tightly and she squeezes me back. I see her tearing up and i quickly wipe away her tears. "Come on now Luke and Bryan should be here any minute" she says gripping my hand and pulling me downstairs.

Just as my feet hit the bottom step theres a knock at the door and Shirley sprints to open it. "Hey baby doll" She says hugging luke and letting him in. "Wheres Bryan?" She asks. "In the car. Maria didnt want to get out and risk getting her shoes dirty" I hear the laughter in his voice and chuckle. His eyes turn towards me and they grow big. His big blue eyes are now even bigger and his hand went limp in his pockets. I looked over him to see him have dark jeans with brown cowboy boots and then a button up shirt. I smile as he catches me looking at him. "You look amazing" he finally says and i feel my face heating up again. "Lets go" he says reaching for my hand and i let him take it. "Okay now have fun no later than 1 got it?" she says eyeing me. I nodd in agreement and shut the door behind me. I noticed Bryan getting out of the car and opening the back door for me. "You look good" he says and shuts the door. Luke hops in the seat next to me and Maria was in the front. She turns around and rolls her eyes but then smiles and my head fills with cuss words. "Ignore her" Luke whispers in my ear. I smile and zone in and out of conversation until we pull up to the theater.

Luke helps me get out and slides his hand around my waist as we follow Bryan and Luke. "Thanks for coming i didnt wanna be alone" Luke says handing me a twix bar. "Anytime i have been dying to see The longest ride anyways!" I smile. Maria and luke are already in there seats and i slide into the one beside bryan and luke in the one by me. "Thanks for coming" he says and i see Maria's hand sliding on his thigh and i quickly regret coming. "Is she always like that?" I whisper to Luke as Maria is now rubbing his inner area. "Yea thats why there not allowed alone" Luke mocks. I roll my eyes and go back to the screen as i hear a slight moan from next to me. Maria and Bryan are lip locked and i gag. "Dont worry its almost over" Luke says handing me the drink. I smile slightly and shift in my seat.

Yes short i know but i havent updated in a while so i figured i owed yall. This was basically just another filler but i still love this chapter. It shows some more about Maria and Bryans relationship. Here in the next couple chapters a sex scene will pop up so you have been warned!!!
