After Akaashi bid farewell and ended the call, Bokuto quickly put on a coat and grabbed an umbrella. He stepped out of his house, and saw the rain pouring down. He quickly ran through the storm towards the hospital.

On his way to fulfill Akaashi's wish.

"Please let me through."

"Sir, visiting hours are over."

"I'll pay you."

"That's not how it works, sir."

"You don't expect me to go home in this storm do you?"

"You made it here didn't you, sir?"

"Please."

"Visiting hours are over, sir."

"But in those animes they always have people spending the night at hospital right?!" Bokuto whined.

"Those are only animes sir," the nurse standing in front of Bokuto, blocking his way said.

"But they have to be based off something right?!" Bokuto continued.

"Miss, can you let him stay the night, out of a request from me?" A new voice said, Akaashi, popping out of his room, into the dark hallway where the nurse and Bokuto were bickering. Akaashi smiled at the nurse, and she instantly felt weak kneed. Bokuto gaped at Akaashi. Keiji rarely smiles, especially around unfamiliar people, Bokuto thought. Then he frowned. Or was it the other way around?

"A-alright," the nurse stammered, "but you have to be gone before visiting hours start. Your father scares me." She said, repeating the last part again, and walked off into the dark hallway, her heels clacking in the ground.

As soon as the nurse was out of sight, Akaashi glared at Bokuto.

"Why are you here?"

"To see you," Bokuto said smiling and extending his arms outward from his sides.

Akaashi furrowed his brows. "If Father finds out-"

"He won't," Bokuto declared, cutting off Akaashi. "Can I spend the night?"

Akaashi stared at Bokuto. He was soaking. His usual spiky hair that he would take hours to work on every morning, was down, wet, and sticking to his face. He came all the way here in the storm to see me.

"Come in," he said, backing into the room, and Bokuto quickly trudged in.

Akaashi sat in his bed watching as Bokuto took off his wet jacket, and tossed it onto a chair in the room. The room had two beds, separated by a curtain, and Bokuto climbed into the one that was unoccupied, and pulled away the curtains.

"This is a really bad idea," Akaashi said laying in the bed staring towards Bokuto, who seemed to have an eternal grin on his face. "What if Father finds out?"

"I'm not scared," Bokuto declared.

Akaashi frowned at him. "Well I am."

"I'll protect you," Bokuto chirped, smiling. Akaashi felt his heart skip a beat, and heat rushed to his cheeks.

"Did you tell Kuroo and Kenma?" Akaashi asked, changing the subject.

"I called them."

"Be careful though. My father has many sources. He could easily find your households, and..." He trailed off, honestly not sure what his Father is thinking.

"Tell Kenma to stay at Kuroo's house for the time being," Akaashi started again.

Bokuto chuckled. "I don't think they need us to tell them that for it to happen."

Akaashi pursed his lips, hiding a smile. Thats...what normal couples do right? Akaashi sneaked another glance at Bokuto, who was still staring at him. He blushed again. Does Bokuto-san regret being in a relationship with me...ever? We can't do the simplest things because of my messed up family, and we can't even tell anyone about our relationship.

"What are you thinking about?" Akaashi met Bokuto's stare, and his eyes widened as he found Bokuto slightly glaring at him. He's...mad?

"Don't think useless thoughts," Bokuto said, "don't regret anything after coming this far."

Akaashi's eyes widened. He relaxed and smiled at Bokuto, surprising him with the action. "Thank you, Bokuto-san."

Bokuto's face turned red, and he shuffled over to his other side, his back facing Akaashi out of embarrassment.

"Goodnight," he squeaked.

"Goodnight." Bokuto-san.
