"Soooo... are we gonna do it?" Kiyoko inquired.

Akaashi turned red and ducked his head. Shimizu was sitting on the small bed while Akaashi stood, leaning on the corner wall farthest away from her.

"Well it doesn't matter to me since your the one who's gonna get reprimanded by that man," she shrugged.

"Why did you agree to this?!" Akaashi blurted out.

Kiyoko tilted her head. "Well... its better than the alternative," she started, "your father bought me out of prostitution in exchange of me being wed to you, which doesn't sound that bad if you think about it."

Akaashi's eyes widened. "You're a prostitute?!"

Kiyoko frowned at the boy. "No need to rub it in, and it's 'was'"

"I mean, i don't know about you but I would much rather be chained and fucked by one person and lead a easygoing life than be fucked by multiple men," she concluded.

Akaashi looked at the girl with pity. There was no surprise that men would be out to get her, seeing that she was a very attractive lady.

"Don't look at me like that," Kiyoko demanded, glaring at Akaashi. Shocked, he quickly looked away.

"Your family's kinda fucked up huh," Shimizu sighed lying down on the bed. "So what, did you fall in love with a girl he doesn't approve of? Or maybe a teacher?" She paused. "Or are you gay?" She whispered slowly.

Akaashi looked up at her abruptly, then grimaced and looked away again.

"Bullseye huh," Kiyoko smirked. Akaashi didn't say anything.

Kiyoko hummed tilting her head at the boy. Shy, wary, tortured, frail, I wonder who decided to pick this boy up?

"Okay, since I know something abut you, I'll tell you my backstory, alright? But you have to tell me yours too," Kiyoko reasoned. She waited for any sign of agreement from Akaashi, but he still didn't meet her eye.

She began talking anyway. "My parents are trash, I'm trash, my brother's trash. My mother first married my father because of wealth, but he loved gambling and soon went bankrupt Mom would always go out with her friends or bring her male friends home for the night and father wouldn't care. She would always come back home in the middle of the night drunk, or keep my brother and I awake all night. Soon she got pregnant and left us. Then later the yakuza took our dad, and my brother decided to join it. My brother took me with him, but you know, I couldn't stay there. So I was alone on the streets since we didn't have any relatives that were exactly nice, and eventually taken in as a prostitute. Not the most dramatic story which have readers pity the antagonist but its life i guess," she said with a totally nonchalant expression, which Akaashi found very impressive.

"Your turn."

"Did you get in contact with his mother?" Kuroo questioned. He sat down across from Bokuto in a cafe. Bokuto looked ragged with bags under his eyes.

Kuroo sighed at the sight. "Look. I understand you're worried about him, and you have every right to be, you love him! But," Kuroo paused looking Bokuto in the eyes, "You can't neglect your own wellbeing. You still need to maintain your grades for your future, and don't forget you're still the captain of the volleyball team-"

"Yeah, yeah, I know, stop helping your rival and worry about your own team. We'll beat the shit out of you next time," Bokuto grinned looking up at his bro.

"Not without your best setter you aren't," Kuroo retorted, then immediately regretted it. He had said it in the spur of the moment, without thinking about the context of his words, or how it would affect Bokuto.

He looked up worriedly studying Bokuto's expression. Kuroo sweat dropped.

Right on cue, Bokuto's phone rang, and he quickly answered the call. It was from Daichi.

"Good news, the higher ups decided to take on the case!" Daichi cheered through the phone.

Bokuto's eyes widened."Thank you so much!" He said smiling ear to ear now.

Daichi laughed. "No need to thank me, Suga and I didn't even tell anyone about your friend. It must be serious if the higher found out about the case. Turns out one of the higher ups is personally leading the case, so don't worry, you and your friend are in good hands."

"Thank you so much!" Bokuto repeated close to tears.

Don't worry Akaashi, I'm coming.
