Three days afterA knock on the door.
Professor McGonagall raised her head and cleared her throat."Come in."
The door opened, and a blonde head appeared. Draco Malfoy slowly approached McGonagall's office."Oh, Mr. Malfoy. I see you got my message, please sit."
Draco nodded and slid silently on the armchair.
"Do you know why I summoned you?"McGonagall asked him.
Draco shook his head."No, professor."
McGonagall pressed her lips."Well, If you have no problem with making me a favour. It will require a sacrifice of two with three days of your holidays."
Draco flinced. What happened?"Anything, Professor."
McGonagall nodded."Good. As you know, Hermione Granger had left the school for a full week. She would transfer from place to place through portals. Three days ago, I was informed that she had succesfully arrived in Australia and then back at England. She was supposed to send me an owl back, when she would arrive, but I haven't receive one for two days. I had sent a second, in case the first didn't arrived. Nothing. So you ,Mr. Malfoy, have to go there and check her out. "She said, crossing her hands.
Draco fliched at her name. "Why can't Potter or Weasley to this? Why me?"
McGonagall narrowed her eyes."Because they are away, and it would take more time to send them, instead of you. You are the Head Boy, Mr. Malfoy. She is the Head Girl. You ought to help her."
Draco nodded. "When am I leaving?"
"Now." She simply said.
Draco's eyes opened wide."Now?"
She nodded."Now, Mr. Malfoy. You will Apparate, I suppose?"
He took a deep breath, then,"Yes. Yes, I will. Just tell me the adress."
And she told him.
