Oh my god, tell me I'm just imagining things! She can't be here!
Joyce: Anne! What are you doing here?
Anne: Don’t I even get a hello kiss from you? You look so highstrung! Relax Joyce. It’s just me.
Joyce: Sorry...nagulat lang ako. I didn’t expect to see you here. I thought...I thought nasa States ka pa.
Anne: Got bored there. So, here I am!
Joyce: Oh…
Anne: By the way, who were you expecting kanina? Super excited ka when you opened the door ha.
Joyce: Ha?
Anne: May boyfriend ka na no? Who is he? Come on tell me. Kilala ko ba?
I can’t tell her about Kris. Magiging magulo ang lahat. What am I going to do?
Joyce: Ha? Ah eh…
Lexi: Joyce! I’m back!
Lexi! Thank god!
Lexi: Joyce, bakit bukas yung door? Andiyan na ba si Kr… Anne! Nabuhay ka. What are you doing here?
Anne: Hi Lex. Why is everyone so surprised that I’m back? Ganun niyo ba ko na-miss?
Lexi: Ah…no? Hello?!
Anne: Still bitchy as ever. Anyway, I just wanted to see my most favorite cousin first before I head down to meet the family. Sige Joyce, I’ll see you soon. Ye ye (chinese for lolo) is planning a family dinner. By the way, have you heard from Kris? I don’t have any news since I broke up with him. I was wondering how he is. Anyway, I’m off. Bye!
I still feel shocked even after Anne left.
Lexi: Buti naman umalis na! Ang kapal talaga ng pinsan mo. Uy, Joyce, ok ka lang?
Joyce: Lexi, she’s back.
Lexi: So?
Joyce: I have a feeling that she’s going to create problems for me and Kris pag nalaman niya na kami na ni Kris.
Lexi: She’ll only create problems if you let her.
Joyce: You don’t know her.
Lexi: I don't know her. But I know Kris. And I know that he loves you. And he won’t let anything come between you. So have a little faith in Kris. Joyce: Ok. Thank you sis.
An hour later, Kris and Rick came over for dinner.
Rick: Hi Joyce (hugging me). Magaling ka na? San ko nga pala lagay itong food?
Joyce: Dami niyan ah! Sa kitchen na lang. Andun na si Lexi .
Rick: Eto kasi si Kris, dami binili para sa iyo. Sige, puntahan ko lang si Lex.
Pagkaalis ni Rick, I hugged Kris. I wanted to stay like that for a long time.
Kris: Hi hon. Ok ka na?
I nodded.
Kris: What’s wrong?
Joyce: Wala lang...I missed you.
Kris: Ako din...sobra. Gutom ka na ba? Kain na tayo.
I decided not to tell Kris about Anne first. I don't want to ruin the night for us. So we ate dinner, the four of us. Laughtrip lang ang dinner kasi si Lexi and Rick nagkukulitan na naman. Thank god for my friends, I momentarily forgot all about Anne and the problems I'm forseeing she will cause for everyone.
