Chap. 2.2

<Jake's POV>

Stephanie's so... Ugh. Why won't she ever give up on me... I already told her that I liked someon else.. Even at that time...

*FLASHBACK*

"Jake! Someone's asking for you."

"Mm." Bumulong sakin ung kaklase ko.

"Don't break her too much." Sabay pat sa shoulders ko. Ha? Anu naman ang sisirain ko?

"Umm.. Ano.. I have something to say.. So can you please, umm.."

"You want me to follow you somewhere that's not crowded, don't you."

"A-ah. O-oo. Can you please go to the garden later..."

"Sure." I just smiled to her and she rushed off to somewhere.

FF. 'Later' na.

Medyo crowded pa rin pala dito kahit uwian na.. Ah. Ayan na pala ung kanina.

"Ah. Pasensya na. Ikaw pa nauna dito."

"Ok lang yun." Ako

"U-umm.. Ako nga pala si Stephanie. Naging magkaklase din tayo last year." Nakayuko pa siya nun.

"Stephanie..." Pilit kong inaalala. "Ah. Oo naging magkaklase tayo last year. Ikaw pa nga yung isa sa pinagpipilian nila maging representative for the Mr. and Ms. something contest, right?"

"Ah. Yeah. That was me... Anyway, about what I wanted to tell you earlier..." Ung ibang tao medyo tumitingin na sa side namin. Medyo nasa may sulok kasi kami.

"Umm.. I-I like you. I've liked you ever since I first saw you. You might say something like this is somewhat corny to hear, but it's true. W-will you go out with me?" Namumula na pati tenga nya.

I'm receiving unwanted attention from people here.

"Um. Ano kasi.. Sorry.. But I have someone who already owns my heart."

"If you don't mind, will you tell me who she is?"

"Sorry. I can't tell it to someone that easily. To be honest, she probably still doesn't know that I've loved her since the first time I saw her."

"Is that so." May nakita akong tumulo. "Haha... I'm sorry if I'm troubling you... Well." Di na niya tinapos ang sasabihin niya dahil tumakbo na ulit siya.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

<Stephanie's POV>

Sigh. I never thought that I'll really explode all my contained feelings.. Ugh.. He'll probably hate me now. Though I know that because he's so kind that he'll still think of me as a friend but.. Ugh..

But.. Thanks to her, I kinda feel relieved now. Maybe I can give up on him since I know that he really loves her more than anything.. But, what is this feeling? It's like my chest is being stepped on. It hurts. I don't like this. Not one bit. -_-"

*NEXT DAY*

<Sapphire's POV>

Of course. The usual routine happens. We meet at the front of my gate, we go to school, learn, and of course FF again to lunch. (Pasensya. Tamad ako gumawa tungkol sa mga ganun.)

"Sapphire! Kain na tayo ng lunch?" Stephanie

"Ah, oo sige." Nakarating na kami sa usual place namin. "Bakit namamaga mga mata mo?"

"Namamaga ba? Hindi kasi ako nakatulog masyado kagabi eh." Bakit parang ang sad ng expression nya? Diba dapat masaya sya?

"Ah. Do you mind if I ask why?"

"No. Not at all. I... just have a lot of things on my mind."

"Is that so..."

Nakatapos na kami ng kain at nagdecide na pumunta muna sa library para maiba naman.

*LIBRARY*

"Uy, Sapphire!" sinusundo nya ako sa tagiliran.

"Bakit?"

"Pansin ko lang. Parang may nakatitig sayo kanina pa."

"Oh? Talaga?" Inikot ko ang mga mata ko sa paligid para makita kung meron nga.

"Ayun o. Sa may likod nung shelf na yon."

Tumingin naman ako at oo nga. May lalaki dun. Parang mas matanda siya ng 1 year samin since nakalagay sa uniform namin kung anung year na kami base sa mga stars na nakalagay sa may kwelyo.

Nung napansin nung lalaki na nakatingin ako ay bigla siyang umiwas ng tingin at sabay lumayo na.

"Sino naman kaya un... Kilala mo ba Stephanie?" Naghahanap siya ng libro sa mga shelf.

"Hmm... If I remember right, siya ata si Vincent Lopez, I think he's the most popular one in their batch." Then she smiled somewhat the kind kids do when they want to tease you. "Maybe he likes you." With matching evil grin. >:)

"What are you talking about. Maybe it's just a coincidence that you caught him looking our way and you thought he was looking at me."

<Stephanie's POV>

Andaming palusot. =3= Eh halata namang sa kanya nakatingin un.

"Maybe. But still, there's that one chance that he might really like you."

"Nah. You're just thinking too much. Have you found a book yet?"

Change subject agad? "Yeah. I'll be borrowing this."

Papalabas na kami ng library at FF ulit. Uwian na. :))

<Sapphire's POV>

Uwian na at papunta na ako sa locker ko. Nung pagbukas ko may napansin akong maliit na envelope na color blue.

"Ang cute naman..." bulong ko sa sarili ko. Inayos ko muna ang gamit ko tsaka ko binasa.

"Meet me near the garden once you've read this. I'll be waiting."

Yun lang ang nakalagay. Nacurious naman ako kaya pumunta ako sa garden, pero sinilip ko muna kung may tao nga.

Nandun nga ung sinasabi ni Stephanie kanina. Anu ba ulit pangalan nun? Ah! Basta Lopez last name nya. =_=

Lumapit na ako sa kanya.

"Oh, you're here already. Umm.. Maybe you already know me but I'm Vincent Lopez. Umm.. hot should I say this... Do you have someone that you're going out with?"

O_o Nabingi ako. Anu daw?
