I woke up with the sound of rain hitting my window, I should be happy because I haven't seen rain for a long time, but somehow the headache didn't let me.
I got up , still in my night gown, and opened my room's door pulling my hair in a messy bun
"Good morning miss" I heard someone say
"Good morning" I smiled lightly so I didn't give him the impression that I was in a bad mood
"Did you sleep well?" Ed asked and I nodded , of course I didn't but he doesn't has to know about that "really? Cause the bags under your eyes don't say the same think" he chuckled and I sighed
"It's my head dammit, why does the cold doesn't go away? And it got worst ,now I can't even feel my hands"
"You can't feel your hands?" He asked frowning and walked closer to me "your lips, their purple"
"It's kinda cold" I shivered
"Come, I'll make you some tea and bring you some more blankets"
"Ah no, this will go away with time" I murmured
"I didn't asked if you wanted, I told you I would do it, didn't asked for your permission" he said chuckling
"Shouldn't I have a word in that decision?" I squinted my eyes smirking
"It doesn't matter" he said guiding me to my bed and tucking me in "I'll be back in no time" he left me standing in my bed looking at the pouring rain, the sound of it was relaxing, even though my head felt like being broken in million cubes of ice the rain calmed me a bit
"Here it is, the tea, miss Theresa will bring you some blankets and a remedy she is making" Edmund opened the door with the cup of tea in his hand "be careful it's hot" I nodded and took the cup in my hands as I tried to warm them with the hotness of the tea "isn't it burning your hands?"
"I can barely feel the hot" I murmured before sneezing
"Jesus your sick, but don't worry miss Theresa makes a remedy that helps a lot, at least it helps me when I get sick" he smiled as I nodded and took a sip of the tea , it didn't felt hot and it didn't burn my thong as I was expecting it to do, it felt like it was cold
"Hey it's snowing" I said smiling
"What?" He didn't seemed as happy as I was
"What's wrong? You don't like snow?"
"Were in the middle of June, it doesn't snows in June" he walked to the window as someone knocked on the door
"You may come in" I murmured and miss Theresa opened the door with a big smile
"Good morning miss Vanessa, you can drink this after drinking the tea, I'll hope it will make you feel better" she bowed and I smiled ,miss Theresa was so sweet, she took care of everyone in the house without asking too much, she takes care of people because she likes to do so
"I hope that green liquid isn't the remedy your talking about for I prefer to be sick than to drink that thing" I said looking at Edmund who stood near the window staring at the snowflakes falling from the sky
"it doesn't tastes as bad as it looks" she tried to persuade me
"It tastes worst" Edmund finally took his eyes off of the window and walked to my bed sitting in the end of it
"King Edmund you should be persuading her to take this, not the opposite" she croaked him as I giggled
"I'm making her a favour, I am stopping her from being poisoned with that thing" he said playfully
