In The Midst Of A Crowd

Chapter 4

"Sorry I'm late Mr. Greene. I was in the office with Ms. England discussing some matters, I am now with you at this time instead of next period. Ms. England will explain to you why this has occurred." After we left the office I bid my goodbyes do Tyler and Jacob and ran as fast I could to the biology room as that was my new homeroom and first period. When I arrived everyone was still chatting while Mr. Greene prepared for the class so I took this as my chance to talk to him.

"It's no worries at all Ms. Graham. You may go take a seat between Mr. Pierce and Ms. Stewart." Mr. Greene said. When I sat down James gave me a confused look but wasn't able to say anything because Mr. Greene began showing us a presentation about what we would be doing this year. When he finished we still had 20 minutes left of class. It was then when everyone started talking again, and I was asked what I was doing here.

"Ashlynne! It's so amazing to see you, but Renee told me that you were in her and Katie's homeroom; why are you here instead?" Peyton asked me. It was obvious she new something was up, but after that question I simply replied, "There was an incident this morning so I had to go and speak with Ms. England, which involved me shifting my classes around. Now I'm in your homeroom. If I take a look at your schedule I can see what else we have together." When she handed me her schedule I instantly grinned. "We have everything together!" Peyton just smiled and was about to say something when James interrupted her.

"Hey wafer! What classes do we have together?" He asked taking my schedule from me. "Looks like we have everything together. Sorry babe but you are gonna be stuck with me for the rest of the year." He grinned this knowing smirk and high fived his two friends Lucas and Colin.
Colin is Peyton's cousin, and one of my good friends too. Lucas and Colin are also on the football team and I guess I was gonna be with them all year too because Lucas gave me a similar smirk to James' and Colin gave me an apologetic smile.
The rest of the class was uneventful and consisted of me and Peyton talking about summer with the boys and how boring this class was going to be. English class consisted of the same thing: talking to the teachers about being switched, watching presentations and random conversations, so everything was uneventful until the bell rang for fourth period. The first period of the day that I shared with Austin.

Sorry that it's taken me so long to update! I've been really busy preparing for school.
If you guys haven't noticed or you did and were just really confused, I did switch Peyton and Renee's roles/last names because of how I pictured the characters. Speaking of which, the pictures at the top are of Peyton, Colin and Lucas. I'll try and post the cast as soon as I can.
