The ride to James' house was silent, giving me time to think about the past few events. James almost kissed me! I can't say that I didn't love it because that would be a lie, but no way in hell can it happen again. He has an insane girlfriend that will murder me for even being in the car with him; but even Sadie can't change my feeling towards James. I know that the past few times were mistakes and I can't let them happen again without knowing his feelings. We park in the drive way and we both go into the house. I immediately run upstairs to Katie's room after saying good morning to Chase, Daphne and Steve (Katie's parents). I open the door to find Katie sorting through her closet. She must not have noticed me because when I said "Morning K," she jumped up and turned around with a very angry face.
"God Ash. Why did you scare me like that? Can't you knock like a normal person?" She says sorta annoyed, but I could see a small smile on her face.
"You're right and I'm sorry, but I have an emergency and I really need to talk to you about it." I say remembering everything. She nods and walks over to her bed, motioning for me to continue. "There are some things that I didn't tell you the other day, partially because my brothers were there and partially because I was too scared to say anything about it. Now however, I know that I need to tell you because you're my best friend and I trust you more than anyone." And so I tell her literally everything. From how depressed I got after my mom died and being diagnosed with depression, to being diagnosed with anorexia and then how i got better, but now I am getting worse and last of all I told her everything that has happened between James and I and what I think I should do.
By the time I'm finished I'm in her arms on the floor about to burst into tears. "It's alright A. I'm right here. We'll get through this together. I promise I will never leave your side." She coos, on the verge of tears herself.
After a couple more minutes we get up off the floor and I help her find the outfit she was looking for, as she has a very important role in the pep rally today and wants to look her best. We pick out a navy blue dress with some nude heels and a gold necklace and bracelet. I curl her dirty blonde hair a little bit and she does her make up a little bit more obvious than mine because she's going to have to be seen on stage. After we're done we head downstairs and James drives us to school.

I am honestly so sorry that I haven't updated in a long time. School has been my top priority and unfortunately that meant that it caused me to stop writing for a while. But now I'm back and I appreciate all of you guys so, so much.I hope you enjoyed this chapter (even though it is a filler) and please let me know what you think, as your opinions help me write the story.
That chapter was dedicated to mattzcat for so many more reasons than I can write. She is such an amazing and kind person and her imagines always make me smile.
Talk to you guys really soon!
