One day

CHAPTER 5

"Get up Lilly pad"

"What do you want Derrick?"

"Mom said to wake you up so we can go get Enrolled in school." He turned and walked over to the dresser and creaked it open.

"When did you get this? It's kinda creepy..." He ran his finger down the glass as I sat up.

"It was here already. Now get out."

"Gosh grumpy. You have 10 minutes to be down stairs Lilly pad" he said as he left my room. I hated the creaking it was so creepy.

While getting dressed I heard a creaking come from behind my door, and I saw a little black shadow finger.

"Ian what are you doing?" I walked over to my door and flew my door the other way. No one. Nothing. I quickly grabbed my jacket and ran down stairs. Getting to the 4th step I tripped and tumbled down all the stairs. Which was 13 stairs, I had counted.

"Lilly are you ok?!?" Mom said running over with Rick right behind her.

"Yah I missed a step." I stood up and picked up my jacket and walked into the kitchen.

"Clumsy" chuckled Derrick as I walked in.

"Shut up." I said grabbing a bowl.

"Mom where are the frosted flakes?"

"Right here" she said picking them up.

"Thank you"

"So today we are enrolling you and your brothers in school. When we get back I want you all to unpack your rooms while I unpack the house. Your dad should be back home around 7. His new times with his new job times are 4am - 6:30pm and only Sunday he has off. "

I poured myself some cereal then realizing we have no milk.

"Fuck" I said under my breath.

"Watch your language young lady!" My mom yelled. I just walked out the back door leaving my bowl there. The backyard was big and there was a huge tree. Walking over I saw something laying on the ground. I picked up. "A rope?" And it was tied in a noose way. "That's weird" I dropped the rope and walked away. Surrounding our house was just woods. Lots and lots of woods. I kinda liked the privacy tho. We have about 2 acres of just land and all the way in the back was that one big tree. I actually liked our new house.

"Lilly!" I heard Derrick scream my name.

"Coming" I started running back when I noticed a piece of paper and stopped to pick it up.

"Enjoy your stay" was all the paper read. And it was a torn piece of paper and again it was written in red Marker. I stuffed the paper in my coat pocket and ran into the house.
