Getting Ready - 1

Hey! Before you carry on reading this book I want to thank pointless_sugg12 for helping me with it. She also has some amazing stories you should go read after you've read this one. Zoe's pov

"Hey guys! Today I thought I'd vlog because Joe is having some friends over tonight!" I exclaimed to my vlogging camera.

"Who's coming again?" I ask Joe as I point the camera in his direction.

"Ummm, Alfie pointlessblog is coming, Marcus Butler, and Casper Lee." Joe informed me and my viewers. I already knew Casper, he and Joe had been on Skype a few times together.

"Ohhh I know pointlessblog, he's Casper's roomate isn't he?" I ask Joe pointing the camera to me again, then back to Joe.

"Yea he is, and I think they are close with Marcus Butler." Joe hesitates, "I'm sorry if I'm wrong, I'm new to YouTube and don't know many YouTubers yet!" Joe says to my vlog.

"Haha that's ok Joe, I'm not sure either. Well we better get everything ready they are arriving at 3:00 and it's currently 11:00" I said, then stopped recording. Our dad was away for the weekend so it was the perfect time to have a mini party.

A couple hours later of getting the house ready and we are finally done. "Joe you have snacks for everyone right?" I question remembering we have to feed everyone.

"Ummmmmmmmm..." Joe hums grabbing his keys. I shake my head and put my hand to my forehead. Well as long as joes gone it would be a good time to think of videos for us to do. One that kept on popping in my head was for me and Alfie to do each other's make up. I couldn't think of anything else. Hopefully the boys had some ideas for us to do. I run to get my camera equipment from upstairs and set it up in part of our living room. I don't want any of the boys coming up to my room just quite yet.

"So we've got the house all cleaned up" I say to my vlog, panning the room. "And I've got my filming space all ready," I point the camera to where I set up my camera and lights. "But Joe forgot to get snacks for everyone so he's quickly gone out to get some snacks, he left at 11:15 and its 12:45 so he should be back soon." I then ramble on about how excited I am, I'm not even exaggerating I really am excited!

Joes back now, we set up the snacks. He got 3 packets of crisps, a pack or revels, magic stars and some other chocolate bars, along with some popcorn, soda and gummies. "Joe! Where's all the fruit and veg?" I shout at Joe, he was getting his filming space ready now.

"I kinda didn't get any..." Joe yells back. Again I shake my head and mutter to myself. He is so immature sometimes. The boys are coming in an hour, but we live 30 mins away from the store, we don't have time to get any. I run to the fridge and look through it. I found a couple apples and baby carrots. I cut up the apples and squirt lime on them to keep them fresh. Then I put the carrots in a bowl and look for hummus. We don't have any but we do have chickpeas. "Seriously?!" I said aloud because I knew I was gonna have to make hummus from scratch. I start to quickly squash they chickpeas, then look over to the blender. I pour the chickpeas in the blender and start to blend them. I know they won't be as good, but I don't have anytime. I add the rest of the ingredients, add some spices and tada! Hummus! I placed the hummus in a nice bowl on the table, next to the carrots. I dip a carrot in the hummus and try what I had created. It wasn't the best but it would have to do.

"Joe do I look ok?" I ask Joe as he walks into the living room.

"Yea you look fine, why?" He questions

"Oh no, that means I don't look ok!" I over exaggerate and run upstairs. I look in the mirror, I didn't look that bad, well I mean I do look bad but my make up hasn't smudged. Still I make a few touch ups, maybe a bit more mascara, eye shadow, lipstick, browser, powder. You know the usual. As soon as I was done I realized I was going to take it off anyways for me and Alfie's video. Oh well, it's the first time I'm seeing everyone in person. Well I've only seen Casper on a screen, and I've seen Alfie in the background of the screen but we've never really talked. I think about watching some of his YouTube videos, but he's arriving soon and it might seem like I'm stalking him. I decide not to because we only have 10 more minutes until they arrive. I'm so excited!!

Alfie's pov

"Marcus, Casper and I are all heading over to the Suggs now" I inform my vlog. I've never met the Suggs but Casper says they are cool. "I think we are about 10 minutes away, right Casper ?" I ask Casper.

"I don't know, I think so, ask the taxi driver." Casper laughs. I laugh too, but I don't ask the taxi driver.

"Non of us can drive yet so we took the train, then a taxi to Zoe and joes. They live in Bath, not very close to a train station." I pause and stare into the camera with a slight frown. Then continue talking "I'm still super excited though." I talk a bit more to my camera about pointless things and turn it off.

The 10 minutes pass by really quickly. We get out the taxi, get our stuff and pay. We walk up their driveway to the door. The adrenaline starts to kick in and I suddenly get super excited. I have the biggest grin on my face. "You alright mate?" Marcus asks me, noticing my smile.

"Yea, just got super excited there." I laughed. We rang the door bells and waited. Joe answered.

"Heyyyyy!" Joe yells and starts to hug us(A man hug of corse).

"Zoe, their here!" Joe shouts to his sister. She comes running down, I can't see her face though, it covered by her long hair. But let me just say, her body is perfect! I finish greeting Joe, while Zoe greets Marcus and Casper. I turn to face Zoe and greet her, she does the same. Our eyes lock.

Zoe and Alfie pov (they both say this)

"Oh. My. God!"
