Shhhhhh - 24

Alfies pov

I say there processing what zoe had just told me. Jack was silent too.

"A-and who did this to joe?" I stumbled.

"I don't know! Alfie please I need your help!!!!!!" zoe screamed.

Jack still stood behind me in shock. I turned my head from him to the vent.

"Uhhh, ummm you should ummmm.." I started.

"Alfie please he's dying!" Zoe panicked.

Zoe had told me that joe was unconscious and that she has stuck a straw in his chest. I was thinking of how we could wake him up. 1% I still have 1% on my phone I could search it up.

"Ok zoe I'm gonna search it up! Stay calm ok?!!" I calmly say to her.

I search up 'how to wake up someone unconscious' that was the best I could do since I didn't know what condition joe was in or what he was diagnosed with. I read it as fast as I could. Some of it was irrelevant since we already did it.

"Hmmm," I hum as I skim through. "Here! Zoe make sure he is warm!! Put blankets on him and use your body heat!" I read to her.

"Ok, ok I'm grabbing the blankets from the bed is there anything else I can do?" She questioned still sounding very scared.

"No not that I know of." I say turning off my phone. I turn back still to see jack, but he was sitting on the bed now, he was unusually quiet, I was a little concerned.

I could hear someone else other than me jack and zoe. I don't know where from. Maybe the vent or outside the door. They started muttering. I couldn't quite make it out since zoe was still talking to me.

"Shhhh!" I shush zoe. I listen closely. It was Louise. It sounded exactly like her. While everyone was quite I took a moment to think. Just think about what happened. Had Louise planned for this to happen. Did she mean for zoe to have to do this to joe? If she did she certainly didn't want zoe to have any help. Otherwise she wouldn't have kept on blocking the vents. If Louise wants zoe to do this alone and I'm helping her. She will soon find out, I mean she is Louise!

"Zoe! We have to be quite about this, make sure no one else can hear us, especially Louise." I say sternly but smoothly. I look back at jack too. He nods understandingly. 

"Ok." Zoe agrees.

Joes pov

I could hear rustling. And zoe was talking to someone again. She started off screaming but soon was calm. Whoever she was talking to was good at calming her, this was the calmest she has sounded since I were awake. The rustling stopped and I could feel myself getting warmer. Like I was as cold as ice and frozen but I never realized until I found the fire. It felt like my body was loosening up and I had been stuck in a stiff position which was now letting me free. I tried to wake up. I could feel myself getting closer to waking up. But I still couldn't. No matter how hard I try, I can't wake up. This is useless, I'm never gonna wake up. I will be stuck in this trance forever.
