Not Again - 6

Zoe's pov

Casper is defiantly drunk almost as drunk as jack. He can't spill that Alfie and I are together. Hopefully no one will remember in the morning. Joe looks at me a little funny but shrugs it off and gets Alfie. Alfie comes running towards me. He doesn't smell like alcohol, he was holding a beer can but it was half full so I could tell he had only drunken half a bottle of beer. "Zoe! Are you ok?" Alfie asks me concerned. At this point Casper and Joe have gone away to get another bottle of beer. I nod my head at Alfies question but I think it was obvious I wasn't ok. Everyone was looking at me. Although Alfie was there I know he couldn't do anything but talk to me like I was his friend. "Zoe come with me let's go get some water." Alfie suggests I could tell he was trying to get us alone. He stands up and starts walking into the kitchen I follow him. No one else does. Yay we did it! Still having trouble breathing and tears rolling down my cheeks I stumbled into the kitchen. Alfie closed the door behind me. "Are you ok little one?" Alfie whispers to me grabbing my waist and pulling me closer to him. This time I shake my head and start crying more. I lean into Alfie and hug him tight. He hugs me back. I don't ever want him to let go. We stay like this for a while. Alfies arms wrapped around me stroking my hair and telling me it's ok then kissing my forehead. I start to calm down. The tears stop falling and my heart is no longer pounding. Catching my breath I say "I love you." To Alfie.

"I lov-" Alfie starts but we are interrupted by Tan rushing into the kitchen. We quickly part before she sees us.

"Oh sorry did I interrupt something?" Tan asks us. I look down but Alfie quickly responds.

"No, no, no I was just getting Zoe some water." He says and grabs a cup out of the cupboard.

"Oh ok, good. Zoe you feeling better?" Tan asked me. I gave her a smile and a nod. This was very close. If tan had found out she would have defiantly told Jim, and a couple other people, tans not good at keeping secrets. Alfie hands me some water and I start to sip it, I'm not thirsty but I don't want tan to think something was going on so I drank it anyway. Tan grabbed napkins and rushed out. Phew that was close.

"That was really close, let's go back now. Are you ok with that?" Alfie asks me. I take a deep breath. I will have to go back at some point, I can't stay in the kitchen the whole night can I.

"Yea." I respond. Alfie smiles and gives me a quick kiss before he go back to the party. I walk out first with Alfie following me. Some people smile at me as I pass them. The sober ones. Casper walks by us and smirks while holding his fist out for Alfie. Alfie doesn't pump back. "Hey come on mate!?" Casper protest. Alfie looks around people have started to watch them. I walk away, I don't want anymore attention drawn to me. I try to find Joe, I can't find him anywhere. I decide I will go search for Joe.

Alfies pov

"Come on mate, I know what you and Zoe did in there!" Casper shouts. Making sure everyone heard him.

"Mate, I don't know what you talking about, I got her water..." I reply to Casper, raising my voice but not too much. Just to let everyone one know nothing was wrong.

"Don't play dumb, I know what really happened." Casper chuckled. Why does Casper have to be drunk? I wish he had never walked in on us. This would have never happened.

"Casper nothing is going on, Zoe's my friend I don't know why you think of us as any more!" I lie hoping Casper would get the picture.

"Yea, yea, whatever makes you happy!" Casper says and walks off. At least he's gone now. Everyone's looking at me.

"Nothing's going on!" I yell and storm out. It's then I realize I don't know where Zoe is. What if she had another panic attack. Oh no! I go and try to find her. I check in the bathrooms but she's not there. I look everywhere but tan and Jims room. I hope she's there. I walk up to their room. There she is! I see Zoe standing outside their room! "Hey, I was looki--" I start today but Zoe interrupts me.

"Shhhh!" Zoe shushes me and motions for me to walk towards her. She opens the door slightly and points inside. I lean over her shoulder to see what she was pointing at. I see Joe on the bed with gabby! They were making out. My jaw drops open. Zoe turns to see my reaction. She smiles a bit and nods her head in agreement. Joe and gabby. Both of them single. Both youtubers, why not! Zoe and I start to giggle and run off. We don't want them to know we were there. I think they were both drunk though. Hopefully it will last.

"Ok guys, me and Jim have our own room. Marcus, niomi, Joe, Zoe, Alfie and Casper get the  guest room. Zoe and Joe share a bed, Alfie with Casper and Marcus with niomi. ------" tan keeps on reading out the assigned rooms but me and my roommates head to our room. We are all exhausted. It's 5:30 am and we haven't gone to bed yet. We get to our room. Joe and Zoe have the bed, Casper and I have a mattresses to the right of the bed and Marcus and niomi have a mattress at the foot of the bed. "Goodnight everyone!" I say, the room smells of alcohol from joe, marcus and Casper mainly. Zoe's on the right  side of her bed and I'm on the left so even though we are in separate beds, we are still next to each other. Casper was almost passing out walking to the room and collapsed on the bed so Zoe and I didn't have to worry about him any more. Everyone conked out and was asleep within seconds. I reached for Zoe's hand after a few minutes, letting everyone fall asleep. Luckily she was still awake. Normally she would have been asleep. She told me she's normally the first to fall asleep. I sit and and check if everyone was asleep. I whisper their names to see. No one responds. Zoe sits up too. "I'm proud of you little one!" I whisper to Zoe.

"You are, why?" She responds.

"Because you stayed calm and handled your panic attack." I smiled at her. I could tell she knew I was smiling. I reached for her face with my hands, I could make out her shadow. She was smiling too. I leaned in as we kissed. "I knew it!!!!!" Marcus chimed in.  Oh no!
