the loudest voice of all
is Silence
she won't speak,
because they won't listen
what a funny world
he won't talk,
because they won't care
what a silly earth
he's an old man
trying to warn the world
but he's given up
because his voice
won't break
the shouts
and cries
of a
hopeless
world
she's a young girl
with night monsters every night
her father says
they're dreams
her mother says
they're not real
but the girl
is still
tormented
she won't speak
he won't talk
because the world
won't
listen.
