{This was originally titled "Finding Earth" but I switched the poems around so now "Finding Earth" is closer to the end of the book :)}

I've got moonblood,
Running in my veins,
I feel it as,
The moon waxes and wanes.

I've got moonblood,
I'm strongest in the night,
Guiding travelers,
With my silver light.

I've got moonblood,
It sings with the sky,
I long to jump,
And soar and to fly.

I've got moonblood,
I smile at Wolf's song,
And accompany him,
Through the nights long.

I've got moonblood,
And the stars in my eyes,
My heart's with the night,
But I have Earthblood ties.

I've got moonblood,
And I sing my lonely tune,
For I long to be one,
With my mother, the Moon.
