Promise you won't leave,

Promise you'll be here,

I promise I won't leave,

I promise to stay near.

Promise you won't judge,

Promise you won't lie,

I promise I won't judge,

I'll tell you truth 'til I die.

Promise you won't hate,

Promise you won't run,

I promise I won't leave,

I'll stay through cloud and sun.

Promise you won't push,

Promise you won't yell,

I promise I won't push,

I will not give you Hell.

Promise you won't hide,

When things get tough,

I promise I will stay,

Even when it's rough.

I know I'm not perfect,

But promise you can see--

I know that you're not perfect,

But you are perfect for me.
