Last night we went out,
We danced in the rain,
We let tears cleanse our eyes
And wash away pain
The thoughts in our heads
But smiles on our faces
Its a facade we both use
In this game of aces
We might have bad luck,
We might get scared
We might deal with drama
But we will always be there,
For eachother at the end of every dark night
And we will dance in the rain under street lights
With you in my arms jessie,
I feel whole again
My fiery hurricane,
My dream girl
My best friend
My anchor
My babe
And everything in between
If it wasn't for you,
I don't know who I would be
We ended our dance with a laugh and kiss
And it made me think
About how perfect this is...
So next time is raining
And there's thunder outside
And the lightening is flashing
So bright in your eyes
Just remember the night
That we danced through the storm
