I'm looking at these walls

Blankly I stare

Looking towards the door

With dreams that you'll be there

And the popilation

Of our nation

Is fueled by discrimination

And hatred

We made this

The only thing we can do is play this

Game that we create

A play as you go

Every person just a crumb

Being surrounded by the ants

And every woman living in fear

Of someone ripping off their pants

And every child wondering if they will ever make it home

To a place they grew up

But will never really know

It's the fear in the eyes of every gay human being

Wondering if they will have the opportunity to be

Themselves without worrying

If they will be killed

Every mass shooting, robbery and war

That we will

Fight till death

Because it's death do us part

But half of don't have the option to feel what's in our hearts

Because it's wrong in the eyes of societal rage

Not a single fucking person is on the same page

And the feelings of men are trapped in a cage

Like an animal in a zoo

And they stare at you

Because we are all just specks in the great universe surrounding

And we are screaming without any sound

And yet here we are

Fighting this losing battle

Trying to win a war that we never knew started

And it words that fuel us, run us and kill us

And if it's not words then it's pain and it's opinions

And at the end of the day I stare blankly at the walls

That I put up to protect myself

And to stop the great fall

I'm not alone here,

I can save you too

And that's why I sit staring out this broken window,

Looking for you
