She pointed her palm towards the vampires. Bolting out a form of dark matter that exploded as soon as it hit the surface of the dirt. The vampires came flying in every direction. Some crashing on the ground while some hit the trees. A vampire leaps to her but she claps and suddenly disappears. Reappearing a few meters to the left, she took a deep breath before opening her mouth wide. Flame came out as if she were a dragon breathing fire. She claps once more and disappears. Reappearing on the top of a branch before bolting out more dark matters directed at the vampires.
There were too much vampires. It was not possible for her to accomplish this by herself. She jumps off the branch and landed on her knee on the dirt. As soon as her hand touched the ground a dark, circular matter exploded. She disappeared again and when she reappeared, she was flying. As fast as the wind could take her. She had to lead them away. Away from the reason why she is fighting so hard even though she knows her death has become inevitable. Away from her child . Away from her baby.
But a vampire comes to a halt at the sound of a cry. Some of the other vampires noticed him and stopped on their tracks. He started sniffing as the other vampires followed. It was the scent of a human, the sound of a tiny breath, followed by a cry. The vampire lifted a bush and found a baby. Mercy was not something they could give. They knew the child had to be killed. She would grow up to become an all powerful witch. She was said to be the biggest threat to the vampire lines.
Though it felt wrong to kill a child the vampire was not hesitant. At the raise of his hand, his fingers turned to claws. However, before he could even move his arm from its current position they heard a growl. They found themselves surrounded by wolves. There were at least two dozen wolves circling them as if they were the preys. These were not werewolves, not half human. They were just animals, they were just wolves. The five vampires took steps backwards and the other stepped on a twig. As soon as the twig snapped the wolves came charging at the vampires.

"My king, I found her scent," said a werewolf as he sniffed and four others followed him and so did the king. The king of the werewolves had never left his kingdom before. This was the first, it was just that important. He needed to make sure she was safe, he needed to look for her. His beta stood at the edge of a cliff leading the pack on the search, "down there," he pointed.
They all made their way to where the werewolf said she would be. The king went sprinting as soon as he found her scent. His pack struggled to keep up with him but he was simply too quick to keep up with. They only caught up because the king had stopped. The king sat on the grass holding a woman as she laid on his lap. She was hurting and injured, struggling to breathe and stay conscious. Bleeding out from the countless scratches on her body.
"William?" she placed her palm on his face, staining it with blood as she gently touches his cheek.
"Joseffa," the king cried out as he held her closer, "what hapenned? who did this to you?" his voice filled with anger and rage but at the same time with worry and pain.
"William, listen to me," Joseffa looked him firmly in the eye, taking his undivided attention, she wiped the tears that ran down his face and said, "my daughter. Find her. Please, make sure that's she's safe. Take care of my Daenah."
With her last dying breath she pulled out a handkerchief and gave it to William. After crying for minutes, he knew he had to stay outside his kingdom a while longer. He stood and took a sniff at the handkerchief, accessing the hunter inside him. The handkerchief had a scent, a scent that would be hard to follow, but not impossible. His eyes turned pure black, his pack lowered their gaze to the ground, submitting to the power of a royal. The king ran and searched for what seemed like an hour. Every now and then he would stop to take another sniff at the handkerchief then continue on his way. He wasn't moving too fast because he was still unsure of his way, hence, his pack stayed a few feet away from him. The sent got stronger and stronger but at the sound of a distant cry. He sprints yet again, leaving his pack behind. His steps grow faint as he found himself walking to a territory. He's never felt such a great territorial power. In recognition of the pack's power he took slow and cautious steps through the pack of wolves.
He walked towards the alpha of the pack. The wolves stare at him, examining each stride. If he showed any sign of being a threat to the baby, they were to eliminate him. He looks the alpha in the eye and it was as if he was explaining everything just through gazing. The wolf let his guard down and backed up to show the baby sitting in the soft grass. The baby looks at him and starts laughing as she swung her arms excitedly. He dropped a knee to get closer to her and stare into her face.
"You have your mother's eyes."
"But not her power," his beta approached from behind him, "she's a witch of nature. A powerful one at that."
"That's possibly why these wolves are protecting her," his delta said as he himself finally caught up, "its amazing, she's the new alpha of this pack and also the first alpha that is not a wolf."
"She is now your alpha as well," said the king as he picked her up, "she's now my little girl and I trust you to protect her with your life."
The pack took a knee as they all spoke at the same time saying, "on my life, I swear."
