Awaking in the bliss, Reyna awoke, hair mussed from her sleep. Frowning after rubbing the drowsiness from her eyes, she hesitantly leaned over to catch a view of the useless serving alarm clock. Rey sighed, only five o'clock. Thankfully having enough time to get completely ready and make breakfast for the two in the apartment.

Reyna walked sluggishly into her living room, and seeing her friend sprawled out upon her dark leather couch, leg up on the back of the couch and the other hanging; and arms in the most odd positions - deemed extremely uncomfortable.

Reyna's black and red flannel pajama pants pooled at her feet on the hardwood floor, her pale, bare feet skimmed across the wooden flooring, a rough, scratching noise echoing.

The snoring audible from the open living room, Rey shrugged her arms closer together in the flowing over-sized tee. The snow of the outside world that has blanketed New York now effected the temperature inside, as well. As she warmed up the stove, the snoring stopped sometime within ten minutes.

"What's for breakfast, bitch?" Jensen Kate awoke with her hair still alike last night, as Reyna's looked more like a lions mane. "I don't know yet, I'm not good."

"Here," Jensen grabbed and moved Rey by her shoulders, away from the stove as she set a pan atop the larger burner. "Get the waffle thingy out and some bacon in the fridge. I know you have them, I raided last night."

Reyna rolled her pale green eyes, sluggishly and exhaustedly grabbed the bacon from the fridge. "So descriptive. The waffle thingy." Reyna chuckled as she brought it out from a drawer below her knees.

"Can't you tell I aced English?" Jensen chuckled herself as she plugged in the 'waffle maker' and ripped open the package of bacon. "I'll put them in." Rey offered, grabbing many strips and varied their positions in the pan. The raw meat sizzled in the pan, already starting to cook as the aroma of bacon drifted heavily into the air.

"Keep an eye on them, and I'll make the waffle batter, or do you already have the boxed crap?"

Reyna snorted, handing here the pre-made batter still in its box - it still being powder within the cardboard box protector. Jensen Kate grabbed the familiar glass bowl, big enough to liquefy the mix within it.

Rey's eyes transfixed upon the bacon, awaiting the time to flip it to give it the crisp, but withhold the correct amount of chewiness that the two loved, with the addition of the crispiness. Her eyes adverted to her friend, who was currently spilling the batter into the 'waffle thingy'. Jensen Kate frowned at the batter in the template, but slammed the cover down with a satisfying click: securing the cover.

Her eyes traveled back to the sizzling pan, she switched off the burner and decided upon that the strips were thoroughly completed. The aroma of the typical breakfast food hung heavy in the apartment, the smells wafting into every room with an open door. Using a for, Reyna lightly pressed it into the thin strips, careful not to touch them as she laid them on a separate plate. The plate's surface having a paper towel over the top, to soak up the excess grease that wasn't exactly healthy.

Not paying attention to her surroundings, minus the completion of the bacon, Jensen completed four waffles, another in the process of being done. Rey scurried over to the cabinet, going up on her tiptoes to level with the stack of plates above. She grabbed two, and set them on the counter before her. Jensen placed two waffles on each plate, and the remaining one was sitting openly in the template. Reyna matched the same amount of bacon on each plate, grabbing the silverware after.
