After that little fiasco, Jack decided to go back to his "tree house" and get some rest. As he put his staff down and laid down on his bed, he got a call from North on this small gadget called a HC (Holographic Communicator). "Jack, I need you here ASAP, someone broke in to the North Pole and rampaged through here like a 'Bull in a China Shoppe'." he exclaimed. "OK, I'll be there soon." Jack said in a hesitant voice. Jack stood up, grabbed his staff, and headed out the door. It took him about 15 minutes to arrive at the Pole. Bunny, Tooth, and Sandy were already there helping North and the Yetis clean up the smashed toys and broken machinery. "You weren't kidding when you said something rampaged through here like a 'Bull in a China Shoppe' huh?" Jack exclaimed with a surprised voice.
Well, they have been there for an hour or so after the clean up section trying to figure out who did this. "Who would do something like this?" Tooth asked. "Someone who must really hate Christmas." Bunny replied. "But who would hate Christmas, it's the BEST time of year?" North yelled, directing his question to Bunny. Of course, this struck a fight between the two of them. As they bickered, something popped up on the computer screen that they have for the surveillance cameras. It was a video of a boy with dark black hair, glowing green eyes, and looked like Jack. "Hello Guardians. If you're still wondering who destroyed the Pole, look no further. Allow me to introduce myself, the name is Mori and I'm a shifter." "What?!?! I thought all the Shifters were extinct." North said, confused. "Well, you thought wrong Gramps. But anyway, the reason why I did all of this was to get your attention." "Well, you got it alright." Bunny yelled. "Now that I have it, I want to use it in a fight, me against any one of you. What do you say?" "What's the catch?" Jack asked. "If I win, I get to hurt the humans for destroying my family, and if you win, I will never do anything to bother you or the human. So, we got a deal?"
The Guardians discussed and discussed, till finally they said yes. "Fine, as long as you keep your conditions." North exclaimed with a serious face. "I never break a promise, meet me in the cleared out forest 2 nights from now, which is Chistmas Eve. See you then." Then Mori hung up and it grew silent until Jack noticed the Moon.
