Rise of the Guardians 2: Mortal vs. Mori

Chapter 10: The Final Showdown!

As I jumped off the sleigh and landed on the ground, I looked around. I thought to myself, "Wow, London changed a lot."

Mori's eyes met mine as we began a glaring contest. His glowing green eyes were full of envy as he stared into my soul, as if to find some deep, dark secret. which I had nothing to hide.. at least I don't think so.

"Hannah, dear, welcome to Valentine Manor. A place demolished after the sudden dead of, the almost King, Eros Sanderman-Valentine, and so to be the final resting place of his beloved daughter, Princess Hannah Amora Valentine." Mori said with an evil laugh. (for those of you who do not know, Eros was the Greek god of love. and Amor is Spanish for love, I just made it feminine.)

"Look Mori, I know how badly you want to kill me, and I know what's going to happen. All I want you to do is release the Guardians and tell me what happened to my father. Where are they?" I asked, searching everywhere for the Guardians.

"Oh, you mean them?" he said, stepping to the side to reveal the Guardians tried to a tree. I started to run to the tree, but I was stopped by Mori. "And, I may have forgotten to mention this but, if you interfere with them or they interfere with us, you or they die," he reminded. "Now, while I'm killing you, I decided on a few things. One, I kidnapped your mom and brothers. and two, Pitch will have to 'babysit' them!" he finished.

Out of no where, Pitch shows up with a heard of Nightmares! "Hahaha... hello again. Did you actually think you could keep me underground forever? Oh that reminds me, thanks for setting me free son." Pitch said with an evil grin. "Son? Wait, if he's your son, them that means you... killed me father?!?!" I asked. Tears began to swell in my eyes. "Not only that, Pitch and Eros were really brothers separated at birth," Mori exclaimed, "Eros was sent to the palace to be raises in royal treatment, while Pitch was sent to the woods to be raised by Shifters."

"Oh my God! So this means we're cousins?" I questioned. "Ding ding ding, someone give this girl a prize," Mori said sarcastically, "now dad, who shall I kill first? You got Jack, North, Tooth, Bunny, or Eros... I mean Sandy."

"Wait a minute, did you just say Eros? Sandy, you're my father?" Sandy's eyes grew big, and he nodded. "Ah heck with it, we'll kill them all!" Mori announced. Just as he said that, his tail whipped through all of the Guardians, leaving blood running down their skin, even mine. Both of my arms and torso had slits through them. Everyone was astounded by this. Just then my hands started glowing pink again. It was so bright that I pushed my hands forward, releasing it and sending it towards the Guardians. Turns out, the pink stuff was healing powers. It healed all of us.

Mori, at this point was caught off guard. So, I pulled out my bow and arrow, got it set, and shot it at one of his wings. a perfect hit. He was in pain, and he was on the ground. So I figured I'd nice and give him and arrow with a touch of heal. So I shot that, and he caught I was his tail. He healed, and this is how he thanked me, "You stupid, incompetent, little girl. Did you really think I was hurt." he said. Suddenly, he consumed the power and through the arrow back, going right through my heart without warning.

My eyes widen. I fall to my knees. Blood begins to flow down my skating costume. This time I knew I was dying, before it even happened. Jack sprang free from the ropes and came to my side. "Hannah, Hannah please don't die. Hannah..." he comes to my ear, "I love you." "J-Jack. G-give me you ha-hand." I say, in a dying breath. He holds out his hand and then I placed my Valentine heir ring in it. "Hannah, I couldn't." he said trying to give it back. I rejected. " You gave m-me a piece of t-you, s-so I'm giving y-you a piece of m-me! and Jack, I l-love you too!' And with those final words, I slipped into the white light, but this story doesn't end here. This story is going to go way back, about 301 years ago, when Jackson Overland be came Jack Frost and Hannah Valentine became Cupid Valentine (pronounced Val-en-tine).
