Third Person's POV
*ting* and huling nota sa kantang ginawa ni Maurice. Ang "Forbidden Rain"
[ Nagpropromote ng story! ahah! check niyo naman po yung Forbidden Rain :D ]
The piece she had made was inspired by a french painting on a rainy day and thought that the name would be unique if she adds the word " Forbidden".
She's M.A. She took her initials "M-Maurica A-Alea" as her stage name. 3 years in the music industry as an international pianist. Not long before her grandma pushed her to enter the world of music, she suffered most of her days living life miserable with her witchy grandmother. She stirved hard, she was never free. She did became rich and popular but will it cover all the aches in her heart?
She stood up and bowed. People started to clap and the whole room was filled with flattering comments like "bravo!". Those audience then stood up and gave her a loud applause. Some were throwing flowers on the stage and other were taking pictures of her. All she did was smile and walk towards the backstage.
"Tired of this darn life!" she threw her piano sheets on the floor and sat on her waiting area.
Maurice's POV
"Tired of this darn life!" i threw all my piano sheets. Just stupid sheets reminding me how my life sucks!
I just sat there with my head facing the floor. Rememder me? I'm Maurice Alea Hermosa. The girl next door. A stupid puppet who is controled by an old witch for three long years. I know, just pathetic me.
"Hey Momo" tinaas ko yung palad ko at iniharap sa nagsalita whom I have recognized even by his smell. People call me Momo for the past three years, I just followed what my dad said.
"You tired?" urrgghh. I'm so not on my mood.
"Isn't it obvious Kuya Harold."
"Should we go home?" binaba niya yung kamay ko.
"No, I'm meeting my piano teacher." lie lie all the way. The truth is, I have plans.
"You sure?"
"I'm darn sure."
"Okay." i heard him walk away. Now, I can go out and party.
----
At the bar ...
"Hey there miss piano girl." i just hate it when I hear people calling me those stupid diminutives. But this girl, I think I can consider. Her name is Tiffany. Her family owns many hotels and resorts.
"Yeah, how's your concert?" and this one's Abigail. She's rich too. Her parents are real estate developers.
"It's not a concert" I sat down beside Abi and looked at them both.
Then I saw the bartender come near us.
"One Bay Breeze" I told the bartender.
"Woah woah, slow down miss piano girl, you might not get home alive. One Tequila Sunrise for me! " Abigail giggles while saying her order.
"Just Blue Hawaiian for me " Tiffany said.
"Coming right up! " then he started mixing those alcohols. I'm craving for those drinks. Atleast I can forget about my s*toot* life for one night.
"So, how's school?"I asked them. The truth is, I stopped 2 years ago. I was still able to attend a whole school year. That old hag made me stop when she knew that I had friends like Tiffany and Abigail, for goodness sake, her reasons are absurd. Is having friends that horrible? Yeah, like I was saying. I've gone home schooling. It sucks. Anyways, I'm living life in her own darn way.
