Chapter 5

Monday, back at school. Have to deal with Lauren and her stories of the concert. This is going to be fun.

It's lunch time and we're all sitting around the table and Lauren won't shut up about the other night. She's telling everyone how great it was and how she had SO many eye contact moments with like every guy in the band. Just wait until she finds out I had a conversation with them... Well one.. Ollie, beautiful blue eyed Ollie.
Hmm, I wonder if I should tell her? Maybe I should tell her today? She's going to flip though. She's going to get so excited she'll tell everyone. Do I want that? Not really. Everyone will make up rumours, think I'm lying... That's not fun. Plus she'll lose it because I didn't tell her straight away. Hmm maybe we'll forget about it. Like its was only a brief conversation... Kind of.

Days have passed and Lauren's finally shut up about the concert night. I'm glad really, it was annoying hearing about it everyday and trying not to think about it.

I'm in my room on my laptop listening to music whilst doing my homework.

*ding*

I hear a noise come from my laptop, a notification. I click on it and it appears to be a new friend request from an Oliver Duncan. Who the fuck is this Oliver Duncan? We have no mutual friends. I click on his profile, but it's extremely private I can't look at anything; I can't even send a message.
I accept, just so I can figure out who this is.

"Oliver Duncan also known as Ollie"

Oh hell no. Is this? Is it? Is it who I think it is?
I click on his profile picture, he's on a stage leaning forward singing into a microphone. I can hardly see his face. I click the next one. He's sitting a chair with a guitar in his arms. I click next.
He's on a stage again with 4 other guys, I can't see a band name though. I click the next picture.
Oh god. It's him. Standing with the 4 boys again with 'The Discoverers' on the wall behind them.
What the fuck? Am I dreaming again?
To make sure I click the next photo.
Again 'The Discoverers' on every photo. Next. Next. Next... Oh my god, this one it's him holding a puppy. The puppy is so cute. It's like a little chocolate Labrador. Oh it's so tiny and cute...

*ding*

I get distracted from my notification sound. Oh god, it's a new message. I click it.

From: Oliver Duncan
" Hey Ruby, you were at The Discoverers concert yeah? Just wanted to see how your gash is healing up :)"

Holy fuck balls, what do I do? I think it's time I tell Lauren...
