The nurses return smiling.
"Hi sweetheart, hows your head?" she asks.
"Spinning" I reply.
Her facial expressions turns to concern, so I quickly continue to put her thoughts to ease, "Only slightly, I feel much better though."
The nurse loosens up a little.
"Okay that's good to hear. The concert finished ten minutes ago so hopefully the crowd has died down a little. We recommend you to leave in another five minutes. Your friend will be in the auditorium waiting outside the door." She says whilst she gives my head a last check up. "Make sure you keep icing, oh...." She stops her sentence after picking up my melted ice pack off the coffee table, "well this is one melted icepack, I'll go get you a new one. Then when I come back you should be good to leave." she finishes and goes and grabs me a new icepack.~
The car ride home was quiet, well on my behalf, I don't think Lauren stopped talking at all. Despite my head pounding, I couldn't stop thinking about what happened... did it actually happen? I feel like I hit my head so hard and that it was all a dream, as cliche as that sounds. What I can't seem to understand is why it's replying in my head. I wasn't even interested about these boys earlier today. But now suddenly I am? Well to be exact, I'm only really interested in Ollie, and our conversation, and his blue eyes...
"How did you find the concert Ruby?" Lauren's mum asks.
How did I find the concert? Good? Average? Fucking great 'cause I had a conversation with Ollie?
"Um, well it was better than I expected" I respond.
"Well that's good dear, just a shame you fell over and hit your head. Could've enjoyed it a lot more"
Yes, fell over... more like pushed from those bitches!
"Yeah that was annoying, but I'm alright so that's all that matters"

I walk through my front door and enter the lounge room where my Mum is and she sees the gash on my head.
"Oh love what happened?" She asks very concerned.I explain everything, except for the meeting The Discoverers part.
"Well it sounds like you had a good night otherwise." she says.
"Yeah I did. Anyway I'm heading to bed. Goodnight mum, love you" I say as I give her a kiss on the cheek.
"Love you too sweetheart. If your head starts hurting or anything come and wake me up straight away. Have a good sleep."
I climb up the stairs and crawl into bed. Gosh, what a night!
