I hear indistinct voices from above me. I can't quite make out what they're saying, but I know they're talking about me. All I am seeing is the back of my eyelids, not able to open my eyes just yet. Stuck in this frame of mind and not being able to comprehend what is going on. As I start to gain more consciousness I can understand the voices more clearly.
"She has a large gash on her forehead, but fortunately enough it's not too deep, I doubt she'll need stitches"
A slight sting increases on the top of my hairline down my forehead. The swell of a throb now growing around it. Something shifts from above the throbbing area from my sudden movement, as I groan in pain.
"Don't touch it!"
The voices are growing louder, I blink my eyes open but close them straight away. Fuck it's bright. I move my hands slowly towards my eyes and cover them slightly whilst opening them again.
Now completely conscious I sit up tenderly, my head pounding, I look around to get my bearings, to which I find two female nurses, one of which is standing over the top of me. She looked about early thirties, she has long dark blonde hair, a rich brown eye colour and really long eyelashes. Awkwardly making eye contact this breaks my examination of her and she begins to speak.
"Oh, she's awake. How are you feeling honey?"
"Ah, I ah, have a headache"
"Okay sweetie, just lie down and hold this on your head while I get you some painkillers", she exclaimed whilst handing me an ice pack.
Still trying to figure out what's happened and where I am, I lie back down on the lounge and place the ice pack over my gash. I look around the room and I notice the emptiness surrounding me. There's just the lounge that I am currently lying on, a small coffee table in front of me. There's a door to my left with the words No Public Entry written on it and to my right is the door the nurses left through. I have no idea what room this is, or where the room is. I don't even remember how I got in here in the first place.
"Here, take these and you'll feel a little less pain"
The nurse entered the room handing me some painkillers and a cup of water. Looking at the size of the tablets, I was a bit unsure of how I was going to manage to swallow them. But I eventually managed it... after choking 3 times.
After swallowing the tablets I placed my cup on the coffee table. I look at the nurse with a baffled expression on my face. It grabs her attention as she turns to me.
"Everything okay?", she asked.
"Oh yes, I'm just confused as to how this happened", I replied.
"Oh, well you tripped on something and fell into the barrier fence and landed on the floor. Security brought you in straight away." She explained.
Oh yes I remember now, those two bitches behind me pushed me. The only thing is, I just don't seem to recognise where I am.
"And where am I exactly?", I asked.
"Oh, well we couldn't find a nice place for you to rest, so we brought you backstage".
I'm backstage? Like actual backstage? That's so awesome! Lauren will be so jealous when she finds ou-LAUREN SHIT!
"Nurse, where's my friend? Does she know I'm back here?", I cried out.
"Yes, she does. You need to relax Miss Hemmings, she'll come here after the concert is finished. For now just relax and listen to the music, but you mustn't go to sleep!", she exclaimed.
"Okay, thank you"
My head still pounding, I sit back and listen to the concert whilst waiting for these painkillers to kick in.

I stumble awake by the mumbling voices coming from the corridor. Shit, I didn't even notice that I fell asleep. As the mumbling increases in volume I fear that they'll be entering the room. Foot steps increasing with the mumbling, my anxiety is rising. Moments later, as I feared, they enter the room. Holy Jesus Christ! I look down at my lap, covering my face with my hand holding the melted ice pack to my head. The voices quiet down; I think they've noticed me.
"Who's that?" Someone whispers.
"I don't know, is she okay?" Another responds.
I remove my hand from in front of my face to turn slightly to give them a subtle smile.
"I'm okay, thank you" I answer back.
I turn to them to notice their shocked facial expressions, probably from my unexpected reply to their question. But as I observe their expressions I have to double take. These 5 boys look incredibly familiar. They don't look like anyone I know, but they look like someone I've seen before. I take a further look at them, all in black skinny tight-ripped jeans, sweaty hair and piercings. Observing these boys more I've now realised one thing... It's The Discoveres.
